Oh, also... a fox is also a canine, along with wolves and dogs... Vulpes however is the genus of almost all foxes, some foxes are grouped differently, like the Arctic Fox, or the 'Alopex Lagopus'...the genus of wolves, dogs and other similar animals i.e dingo, coyote etc.. is Canis.
The family name for all these animals are Canidae, sub-family Caninae.... or as their more often referred to as: Canine...

huh didn't know that... So would the fox be put under canine instead?

I used to be a hyena, but when I took a leave from the furry fandom, I discovered more about myself so when it was time to come back, my species had to change. So I became a goat.

I've always liked goats. I think they're cute. On top of that, like goats, I am intelligent, hard-working, and curious about everything. I can also be stubborn and sometimes my curiousity gets me into trouble. That includes my fearlessness when it comes to trying food. I'll eat anything edible, like a goat, and sometimes, that's just plain dumb. Not going to get into details though. : P
