Corrupted user profile, help?

Yeah, my user profile got corrupted yesterday... Or at least, I cant log on because when I try to I get this message: "The user profile service failed the logon. The user profile cannot be loaded"

Anyway, I'm using my sisters user, because its only one user that has been affected, which I guess is good, but I still need to get stuff off my user which wasn't backed up on external hard drive... As if that wasn't a problem enough, the user that was corrupted is the administrator, and my sister's user has no administrator privileges.

So, any help would be greatly appreciated. For yet again, my computer has gone and killed itself ¬.¬

So umm... this is a problem with your computer from what I understand and not TFF. Depending on what operating system you have, the solution could be different. I would suggest going to control panel and giving your sister's account administrator privileges and then deleting the other administrator account and making a new one.

Yeah, sorry... Should've been more clear with that. Its the user on my laptop, and I'm still running Vista...

Anyway, here comes the really fun thing. When I tried changing my sisters account to an administrator, it wont allow me. Windows asks for an administrator password, which I never set in the first place ¬.¬

Well, I'm taking the laptop to a friend who is good with computers, hopefully he can help     If anyone has help, also to do with the administrator password, when I swear I never set one, then it would be much appreciated.

No worries, my brother in law came over with his laptop and sorted everything for me

I know you fixed it 'n all, but you can always try safemode and log into the administrator account
