I'm a new one around these parts, but I'm no novice to furriness. I've got a longstanding account on PlayMouse and FurAffinity. Those are my faviorites, anyway.
In other news, I've got heavy experience using forums - they're my faviorite internet tool. Rockin' out on the message boards is what I do best, baby.
So. To get to the good stuff. Here's my FURSONA!!!
-Name: Kaveyd (Usually just Kav)
-Sex: Male
-Sexuality: Straight
-Species: Tiger
-Build: Strong but skinny as far as muscles go. More like an acrobat than a bodybuilder.
-Personality: Strong, confident, well-developed sense of right and wrong. Hates emos.
-Description: Tall, casual, usually wears baggy pants and often skips a shirt.
-Originalities: Has an affinity for fur dye. It's just like hair dye, only *duh* it's used on fur.
-Fur Dyes:
Dark red in a triangle from the ends of the shoulders down the back to about the waist. His black stripes are still there, but the normal red-orange has been dyed a strong maroon instead.
Highlights and bleaching on the arms and legs, lightening gradually until the hands and paws are almost totally white - just light gray stripes are left.
Now, fur dye is my own invention. I've always liked to think of furry society, and what could be done with it. For example, furcuts would be much more expensive than our usual, and probably more practical as well. I don't get into that much detail with Kav, though. He's just fuzzy. However, people bleach and dye their hair all the time. Well, when your whole body is covered in fur, there's just that much more room to be creative!
Further, tattoos are all but impossible. Fur would cover it up. So fur dye is a milder kind of tattoo, since fur grows much slower than hair, and so it would be almost 6 months before a fur dye job grows out.
I really wonder why nobody thought of this before.
Anyway, that's me. I'm just getting going with this forum, but I hope it'll yield a good set of RPs.
