I don't have a name for it yet...

Well here goes. here's what you need to know...uh....sorta strange thing I wrote around midnight one night. I can't quite comprehend it myself.

I am a fox of simplicity. All my life, I have tried my hardest to be just another Average Joe in my city. I never thought too much of the workings of the world. In fact, my life has been so extraordinarily normal that the day I met Luna, I felt like every fiber of my perfectly simple world was being burned away and replaced by her. You might think I'm about to tell you a silly love story. Ha! No love was involved with her. The minute she was in my life, it became hell. No, I'm not superstitious or religious, I never was. By the way, my name is Jun-Mi. I'm 27, was born in South Korea, and moved here at the age of 10 with my family. I work as an accountant at a bank. The bank is where I met her, actually. She was a cat, literally and figuratively. She looked like a model, and was obviously rich by the way she dressed. A fancy black dress and a faux fur scarf. Why are all rich young women this gorgeous?
I looked at her though, and it felt like the 1920's for whatever reason. I felt like I was watching Chicago, or something. I can't explain it... Before I could speak, she said to me "Jun-Mi, let me level with you. You are a skeptic when it comes to things of the supernatural, but you will believe someday. Profound things happen to the skeptics, and something lovely will happen to you. But first I need a loan"
Now things got really weird, and you may not believe me but it's true. This whole thing. The next thing I knew after she said that, I was home. And my watch said it was 3:30 P.M. I was in my bed, which was really weird, because the first thing I do when I get home is take a nice hot shower. But here I was, laying in my bed, in the clothes I wore to work. And then I looked to my left and there she was in bed with me. That woman. She took my left paw in both of hers, and placed a small round object in it. Now, although every fiber of my being wanted to scream at her to get out of my bed and my house, I took a perverse interest in the object in my paw. A small, blue marble with a crescent moon on it. She spoke again, in that silky smooth voice.
"My name is Luna, and this right here....this is a memento for you to remember me by. Keep it"
And then I was sitting upright in my office again. And I was alone. Except, the marble was still in my paw. What the heck was this about!? I shook it off and looked at my watch. 3:00, time to go home. When I arrived home, before taking my shower, I checked the entire house for any sign of her. Nothing. I even checked under the bed, like a little kid checking for the boogeyman. So, after my shower, I decided I'd rent a movie. Black Swan, that sounds good. And as I was watching it, the girl that played the main character turned to the screen. Oh but it wasn't the main character anymore. It was 'Luna'. She smiled at me, and waved. In a panic I turned off the TV and headed straight to bed. I kept the lights on like a scared child. That morning, as I opened my eyes, I noticed something different. Instead of the yellow lightbulb glow of before, my room was basked in....blue. Then there was a crash and the lightbulb exploded. However, there was enough light coming in through my windows so I could see what was hanging from the socket. The marble that was in my paw the day before. I hastily grabbed it and chucked it out the window. At work, I asked my boss about the woman that visited me in my office yesterday and he answered with this:
"We only had male customers yesterday"
Okay. Well, Luna was obviously a woman. No cross-dresser could ever look that smoking hot. So.....had I seen a spirit? No, of course not! Right? Well, when I got to the office, I became even more scared. As I turned on the computer, words flashed. Not the WINDOWS 7 logo. No. Words. Like a human.
         HELLO JUN-MI.
       Okay.......this was awkward.....
         IT'S ME, LUNA.
         READY FOR SOME FUN, CUTIE?
Right now, I was really not in the mood for her kind of fun. I was terrified.
READY OR NOT, HERE I COME.

I blinked, and the words were gone and the computer was off, and someone was knocking at my door. I really would like to skip all the experieces following the computer incident, but it's important you understand how close to insanity she brought me. Anyways, a young male wolf has come to visit me. Him and his girlfriend needed a loan on a house. As we were sorting out the paperwork, I looked up to see that his eyes had turned into....well.....marbles. I let out a load scream and jumped up from my chair, backing away, but when I looked at him again, he was normal...... My boss sent me home early that day. Then, in my house, there was a sea of marbles, and 'Luna' was swimming in them. She swam up to me, kissed me on the cheek and everything was gone! But one day, all of it stopped. I would get phone calls from her telling me to watch my back or else the marbles would get me, and those stopped. The visions of the marbles and her stopped too. All so abruptly. That weekend, I picked up the sunday paper. The front page story was about a death. Here's a little excerpt that.....well.......confused me further.

Luna Jones, age 25, died yesterday. She leaves behind a mother, father, brother, and two sisters. Believed by many to be a psychic, she was driven to attempt suicide by harsh skeptics that harrassed her continuously. She was left in a coma for one month, cluthing a small blue marble in her paw. She was pronounced dead at 3:00 AM, and the marble was nowhere to be found.

Luna......marble.........skeptics. Sounds like the woman that visited me, correct?

A bit macabre, which is a good thing. For some reason, this reminded me a lot of Poe. Good job.

Yay :3.
thank you ^-^
See, when I wrote this, I had previously read a book on the fundamentals of asian horror.
And I feel, with the ghost of the woman, (or was it?) I was following the traditional asian horror scope, but I felt I was a bit unique with her purpose and method :3. *huggles* thank you for the comment :3
