I must be real lucky. None of my friends have any problem with me being a furry. And my liking of anthro guys . When I told them both of these things, they nodded, shrugged, and went back to trying to figure out how the hell to click the spoon in the impossible test. It's funny, 'cuz my friends are all the drop-out type people. Not all, but most.

I own a Ventrilo server, and I get along with everyone on it. Minus one person who, when he found out I was a furry, proceeded to try and act like my psychiatrist.. asking me why I felt I needed to be a furry ,etc. And it wasn't outta curiousity.. it was just plain trolling. :\ He's pretty much said just about every insult he can think of that would apply. I just keep him on mute though ;D

We all know there are people who dislike furries.. I've always come to wonder.. Are you/have you been offended by "anti-furry" terms?

Personally, I brush them off. They're empty insults to me.

The only thing that insults me is willful ignorance.

Ignorance, or ignorant people, does not mean stupid. It simply means they do not know.

No that does not mean that I am offended by anyone who does not know something. We all have something to learn. I am offended by those that choose to remain ignorant of something they dislike.

Not offended, but it certainly hurts my heart to see the useless malice and my brain the see the useless stupidity.
People hate what they don't understand. That's what makes me angered.
I don't really get personally offended but I stick up for everyone who's subject to misunderstanding. (In fact I constantly get into strange predicaments where I'm defending both sides of an argument simply because both of them are arguing about something stupid so they draw upon something irrelevant that does deserve to be defended.) I may be a furry but if someone says it as a generalization I don't take personal offense and treat the fandom like I'm defending a separate entity, this changes if they say something like "You're [__________] because you're a furry" in which I case I do take it personally since they brought me into it. I still try not to be offended in myself but I certainly am angered by their idiocy.

That kinda thing tends to make me more sad than offended; unnecessary hate is so pointless.

This is probably best said... I dont let peoples words get to me, in fact with theatre sometimes its useful for peoples hurtful words ^^

I do get offended by anti furs, but i dont engage, But when thers some1 agaisnt horses themselves or of any kind, I Engage.. cus i have that instinct for my horse Roxy, I love her. and its like a white man insulting a black man. idk.. it kinda goes same when some1 insults a friend of mine, i step right in and go defensive, and yes it offends me the my friend is being offended or worse, by some1.
