Am I going to confuse people?

I am really looking into getting some ears and a tail for my fursona...but because I am both a cat and a wolf am I going to confuse by wearing canine ears and a feline tail or worse yet have to explain that I am part wolf because both animal's ears are pointed? :p I don't have any funds for even a partial fursuit even though I'd love to have one. Is this really enough to even be a suit? Or am I just barely getting my paws wet with the idea?

Thanks Nami, that helps a lot I'm wanting to build my own pieces for now, mainly cause it's been a while since I've been in furry mode and I feel the need to be a control freak but I will defiantly consider donating to the cause when I get some money...it's non-flowing at the moment  :'(
