HAHA, thanks. that aint a pic of me unfortunately (I havn't deployed yet) but I had one on my helmet cover for a while, until I was transfered and got another. And scope caps eh? DM? sniper?

I tried getting into the armed forces, but...... nope. I went to the Airforce and took all their steps to get ready. Shortly after I turned in my ASVAB score they rejected me because of my ADHD...... wow....
Then I turned to the Army. I was sooooo close to being accepted by them until I showed my diploma. I have a genuine high school diploma, but I got it through an alternate method. The Army didn't like that method and rejected me on the spot.....
So yeah. There you have it.
Hey man dont sweat it, I'd rather not compare the ARMY to the other services
, but I am surprised they did not accept you. We are transitioning to more of a peacetime mood as of late (much more strict, and lower recruitment #'s), but we aren't quite there yet so again, that is surprising. The air force is a different story, they are small, and can afford to be strict. But good for you man for volunteering, especially at a time like this. I'm not aware of your situation, but if you're still able and willing, its not impossible (I know a few recruiters, and some other very knowledgeable Army personnel very well, so I may be able to at least do some research for you [feel free to pm me])
If not, dont be down guy, you have tried, and that means a lot. As my CO would say: "You are a patriot."
