Adoptables??

Ok first let me say this, yes I know some people here on the forums do adoptables I have nothing against it, this isn't a hate but a inquire thread.

Ok fist let me ask what i wanted to know. As the artiest, what is the point of adoptables? Is it to see a design you like go some where, becuase you have no desire to take it some where you just don't wan it to go to waste? Or is it just top make some extra cash?

Second, as the person adopting, why do you adopt? Is it becuase you can't come up with any ideas on your own (that is a from the hear honest question not a cynical one, please don't get offended)? Or you just loved the idea, and has to "have it"?

me...im ALWASE comin up with cool chracters that i draw...then never do them again, and i feel thats such a waste when there are others that would love to own them.
and i figure why not let them go where they will be used...but i dont like to just GIVE them away...i like to feel my efforts are still rewarded, but i sell em cheap cause obviously. i made them myself and wouldnt charge someone for my own art the same as if they payed me for a commission

I did a few adoptables b/c i need to get some extra money to by stuff for the baby i have on the way. I don't usualy go in for that sort of thing but the cash has been tight lately.

I personally dont see the point of adoptables. If im gonna pay for art, I want it to be of my own character.

I agree i mean... i wouldn't by adoptables but i won't stop people from buying them... i mean i think they can be really fun/cute....
