I've been thinking about this for a while. I'm trying to become a cartoonist, and although it's a long, periless journey that I'll more likely than not give up on eventually, I'm still set on becoming one. But I've always wondered...
If I ever DO get my cartoon up and running, who would voice act for my characters. Personally, I have a character named Patrisha Defylar, a blue colored elephant like character with the bottom half of a lion. She also wears lipstick and has an extra eye on her forehead AND both of her hands. And for some reason, I can just imagine her sounding like, oh say, Katey Segal.
Katey Segal is the voice actor for Turanga Leela from Futurama. She was also Peggy Bundy from Married with Children, and my dad says she's also in Sons of Anarchy, but to be honest, I don't watch that show much.
By the time I get a cartoon, Katey Segal would probably be past her prime in terms of voice acting, but still I can just imagine that character being voiced by her for some reason.
Anyway, I'm wondering if any of you have characters that you could picture being voice-acted by certain famous actors. If so, I would be more than happy to hear what you come up with.
