I wanted to know how some of you came about your avatar, did you draw them? Did someone else? I would like to get my fursona on paper but don't know how to go about it. Any Advice Helps :)

I drew my first , made a photoshop manip of myself and then had someone drawone for me (wich by the way it was pretty acurate and I did not need to send a pic of myself o_0 and then now my current avatar I took a screenshot of a videogame I play last night :)

Started of as an IMVU picture then changed to pictures I paid others to draw/received as gifts. I draw pictures of my fursona too, but never use them as avatars because I don't think they're good enough for it yet.

I usually draw my own. Once in a while I'll use an image that someone else drew for me.

Generally I draw my own, but this one is an experiment of something cool I did with a doll maker. Jovi's evil dragon/horse twin-thing, or something. If you keep an eye open you might be able to get some free art done, and if not there's always icon deals going about on FurAffinity.

Well, at first I had my fursona but no avatar. Spent three years without an avatar, then one day I asked a very good friend of mine to draw it.

Paid him a bit for his work, and that was all.

If you really want an avatar you'll find a way, the most important thing is to have a clear vision of your fursona  ^_^
