Hello! It's been a long time since I joined a new forum, so I'm just gonna steal from other posts and the sticky'd topic.
What's your/your fursona's name?
My name is Taylor but most people call me Tai. I don't have a fursona--but now that I actually have friends who identify as furries, I may make one of my own. (I like wolves, kestrel and deer [my totem is the white-tailed stag]--perhaps it'll be one of those. If I end up opening the floodgate of 'more than one fursona,' I fear I'll end up with 20, each of different species.)
How long have you been a part of the furry fandom?
I'm not even sure if I'm part of it now, but I would love to be! I've been drawing anthropomorphic animal art since before I can remember (before I even started drawing humans or plants or anything else), I've been wearing animal parts (ears, claws, tails, even cat-eye contacts) since I was little, and I can sew a mean costume--perhaps I'll try my hand at making a quadsuit one of these days.
What are your interests?
I'm into everything from video games, to comic books, to anime, to music, to drawing, to singing, to writing, to sewing, and back. I also work at the Southern Renaissance Pleasure Faire, as part of St. Helena's (Commonfolk Guild), and visit about 5-6 conventions a year with Sci-Fi, anime, and comic book themes. I roleplay, both online (T1 and T2) or in-person, such as LARPing--and build and skin many-a-thing in Minecraft including worlds like Tartarus from Persona 3, Junes from Persona 4, and Disneyland--and skins like Dick Grayson as Robin from Young Justice. (If people don't have a server now, I'd love to host a furry-friendly Minecraft server that anyone can join, I just need to remember how to port-forward.)
Any favorite games/movies/music?
My favorite games are currently Kingdom Hearts 1 and Final Fantasy X (Al Bhed vun dra feh!), both of which I have re-started--as well as The World Ends With You. My favorite movies are pretty much anything Hayao Miyazaki--Nausicaa, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Porco Rosso, Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, Cat Returns, Whisper of the Heart, Grave of the Fireflies, Howl's Moving Castle, even Ponyo--but I just saw Rise of the Guardians and I'm kind of in love with Jack Frost it right now. My favorite music is mainly pop (j-pop and k-pop mostly), with a new-found love for Nightcore. I don't watch a lot of TV, but some of my favorite non-anime series are Young Justice, Teen Titans, and Danny Phantom. My favorite anime are everything from Ghost in the Shell, to Yu-Gi-Oh!, to Rockman.EXE, etc.
What's your favorite color?
I like deep purples most, but anything cool or dark is probably one I like.
Anything in particular you're hoping to find on the site?
I'm not really sure. Just looking for new friends, people to talk to, stuff like that. I really want to join the fandom, because I've had my eye on furries for years and never had the courage to step forward and join a group or forum like this. Maybe I can get some hints/tips/tricks on making this quadsuit I have planned out, we'll see!
