Since im writting more I will just post all my poetry here.
Nocturnal Love
Eyes like diamonds that reflect the moon,
I stare into them and cant help but howl.
But love seems to die too soon,
I hope this time this play's not foul.
The sun will rise in those crystal eyes,
And my feral impulse might be to growl.
The start of day means our demise,
We bear our teeth and share a scowl.
The cold of night nor the heat of day,
Can lift us from our shallow bay.
Dead barren trees will turn and sway,
Ashamed their leaves have blown away.
But we shall stay deep in our den,
Hidden from the surface dwellers.
The sun will set and maybe then,
We will rise together from these cellars.
Freedom Fighters
Embers descend from the fiery clouds,
The tears drip down our dirty jowls.
No matter how this ends just know I'm proud,
But its time for us to shed these shawls.
Our enemies quake the earth below,
Let us take up our swords so we may show,
The strength our kind truly bestows.
When their blood is drawn then they will know.
Show them no mercy to return the favor,
The lives behind us we fight to savor.
Our friends around us fall to their knees,
Afraid of that which each one sees.
Slice and dice and slash and thrash,
I close my eyes when bones are smashed.
My splintered legs cannot support,
No more our shattered royal court.
The black rain decides to cease,
Like our enemies whose moral grows weak.
The white ashes give a sense of peace,
But around death I can no longer sneak.
Don't cry for me yet your journey is not done,
Take up this flag and with it walk tall.
Through shame and exile this war is won,
Show the world now who is weak and small.
