Ripped Tail! (need help please)

I recently went to the Anime Expo in LA (if you are a close friend, you know this) and i purchased an extremely soft fox tail,


I wore it maybe three times, and the final time was when it ripped. I assume that it was from the chain-thing pulling on the hide too much when i sat down. [size=78%]But it ripped where the hole to put the belt-loop chain into the tail to make it wearable. not a serious rip, but enough to make it unwearable.[/size]


 I'd have a picture if i had any good camera's that would put contrast on the hide and the fur, which is the same colour, so i apologize that i cant get a good picture of the rip itself. 


so, is there any quick way to fix it that anyone knows of? it would help out me a lot!
