Living like your fur?
« on: September 19, 2013, 01:12:09 AM »
Has anyone ever tried to "live like their fur" for a while? Like try to take on the eating, grooming, playing habits of their particular animal? Not to an extreme to the point that it would be really noticeable to the public but just like little things like choosing foods that your animal would choose as an example.

I can't be Jake at school, there's this magical "you can't be your fun self!" force surrounding it. At anywhere else, the only differences between Jake and myself is that I'm much taller and don't own a machete. I do have a secondary fursona, however. Starburst (rainbow fox) is more shy, thoughtful, literate, visually creative. He's basically me after taking my ADHD meds.

I don't act like Spike. Spike acts like me.

I never actively do it. It just happens. I'll snuggle up against my partner all cat-like,or I'll pounce on my dog and we'll tussle or whatever. ^^;;

Well, Alexei is pretty much just me in a furry body anyway, I never really bothered giving him a personality separate from mine.

Nova is based very much off of me so I guess we act like each other most of the time. Of course acting like an actual wolf is much much harder, considering I can't eat raw meat and go running around on all fours howling at things :P

Come raise your lantern to the sky
And let's illuminate this night
We'll dance like heathens
Around the flames
And while the world sleeps
WE ARE AWAKE!

Marshal is, more or less, who (what) I would like to be. Even though I can't use my sword to fix all my issues, I still basically act like him most of the time.

My fursona is based off of me, but for some reason having a raccoon fursona tempted me to buy celery, and now I love the stuff. XD

I was curious because I act like a cat without mostly thinking about it. I'm very clean, and eat really healthy, and I love to stretch and dance around.  :D I also churp and purr and mew like a cat often without thinking about it!

If I feel like acting like myself in a situation (rather stupid, that is) I'll sort of switch out my thinking
