Performance. Perfection. Pedigree. Valencia University is one of highest tier colleges in the world. Known famous for its small size and exceptional rigerous academic program. A high volume of people apply to this prestigious school and only a mere handful get it. The students are selected as the greatest from their respective area's of study, regardless of background or financial standing. The school's funding hands out scholarships to those great enough to be an investment should they succeed. The classes at Valencia are small and structured. Students never pass through the cracks at the University and clicks rarely form. What do exist are saturated, like the Elite program of top 10% of the schools class, and the Garden program, focusing on the arts and appearance of the Universities yards and reputations. Valencia University is a melting pot of histories and pasts, but what they share is a standard set by their dean Bartlebee Archambeau and the Board of Governors.
Setting
Valencia U has a blooming reputation of philanthropy and rigid discipline. The Main Hall was originally built as a correction facility for rich aristocrats, and as time went on reconstruction turned the hospital into college. Since originally only the rich and military could afford to send their sick family members there for the heath of medical treatment, the bank of Archambeau who built the hospital was overflowing. At the beginnings of the 13th history the Archambeau family refunded all their assets and hoarded their investments, land, titles and money. Living in isolation until the 16th century, the hospital had grown a reputation as a rich insane retreat for rich noblemen and high ranking military officers or prisoners of war. The insanity was later coined as intelligence, flipped with the Enlightenment, the once reserved Archambeau family funding the hospitals existence suddenly became involved in its renovation. By the 18th century the once called Valencia Orchard Hospital was named Valencia University. The reclusive Archambeau family would have one representative as dean, elected by the Board of Govoners over seeing the different districts of the school. The Deans influence was little, and represented as more of a figurehead and standard for the students. Thus a young exemplary graduate was always chosen, and treated like a puppet by the Board.
In the surrounding community bitterness against the college is difficult to muster. Their donations to the reconstruction of the small town is resented, the village built around the school boundaries proudly defiant for the school's ancestral abuse to the town and sudden urge to force change. Grants given for fixing the streets and hiring police were used to reconstruct the towns village atmosphere. The quaintness and grunge of the town contrasts terribly with the college who employ police who patrol the boarders. This enhances the sense of self worth and entitlement of the schools community. Students who are given scholarship's are considered savants, and those foolish enough to barely get by in peerless grading must be royalty or rich beyond measure.

The University is small, and all students of all majors and departments comingle in the same dining hall, court yards, and gardens. They attend the same parties, except for the rare one's the school will hold for exceptional circumstances. Perhaps the only exceptions are the Elite and Garden programs. The Elite are a support group of strong willed students who exceed the academic standards set by the school. Their discipline is so exact that only the top 10%, calculated by number of the total students at the entire school, is counted and selected by the Elite members. The Garden Party is selected more by the community, has a small group of representatives, and reaches out to enhance the physical appearance of the school and its members. They control the design of uniforms the military and Elite member wears, as well as their own. They plan student events both endorsed by the college and not. The Garden Party are only four, and consist of a student from each graduating year.
