To answer a question with a question. Is it for you? It does not have to be if you don't want it to be. At least it is not for me. I draw anthro art and that's it. (It is definitely not a religion.)

Space is a place I can't wait to go to. All the time in reality. And yet I long for the end, not because I want it to end, but because I'm curious of how this world ends and where all these souls go to when they breath no more. But till then I'll be having the time of my life! :)

We fight, we recruit, we are the anthropomorphic army.

Read this to answer all your questions! XD

tl;dr: Furry is a fandom, like Trekkies, some people simply enjoy the art (like some people simply enjoy the show) while others become more engulfed in the furry culture and it becomes a lifestyle (same with trekkies). So it can be a lifestyle but doesn't have to be.

For some it is a Lifestyle and for some it is a Hobby.
