Fun Sci-Fi Shenanigans

"You know, it's really a lot better than I thought it would be."
"Yea?"
"You know... not dying, getting the girl, back home in time for tea..."
"I'm not sure what you're getting at."
"Well, the tea bit. When was the last time you had a cup of tea?"
"Ignoring the fact that the rest of that didn't happen, what's so special about tea?"
"You know how it just seems to go so well with everything?"
"I only drink coffee..."
"Well that's your fault."
"I can't help that it's nearly impossible to find someone that stocks it"
"Well that's everyone's fault"
There was a sigh and a sulk. Percy missed a good cup of tea. His mum always had some stashed away somewhere.

"I can't believe that last bag only lasted me 2 months. I should reprimand you for ejecting it."
"It was going grey, It looked like it was becoming a health hazard."
"You don't understand me."
There was another sigh and a sulk.
Kaley hated seeing her captain in a huff over something so silly, but she knew she had to be the better person. Percy would never have gotten where he was today if she didn't kick him into place every now and then and this was one of those times where this would have to be the case.

"We'll look for some more when we dock at Denwel. I'm sure there's going to be something in one of the markets."
Percy swivelled his chair to look at Kaley. His arms were crossed and he had his angry face on which always failed to serve it's purpose.
"Fine" He said, failing to be stern about it, "We'll deal with this later."
He swivelled his chair back to the console and pressed a few buttons and gave off a huff.
"6 hours until we get there."

Percy always liked visiting Denwel. The system's star was a pale blue as opposed to a boring yellow or red. The neighbouring planets also seemed to always have something fun going on. Kaley also liked it.
"Not sure why Jeff doesn't like this system" She said.
"Not sure either. I think I remember him saying something last night about why, but he was slurring to much to make sense of it"
"How is he?"
"Still hung over. Watch this"
Percy pressed the intercom button to Jeff's quarters and positioned himself in front of the microphone.
"Jeff, wake up. I repeat: Jeff, wake the hell up you sorry sod"
There was silence for a second. The *humm* of the engines were all that could be heared, only to be broken by a distant crash and the vague sound of something vulgar.
"Jeff" Percy said again. "Jeff".
The intercom responded with a furious and somewhat tearful "What!?"
"Jeff" Percy was laughing now.
"Jeff... Why do you hate Denwel?"

There was silence again.
The Intercom cackled on and breathing could be heard.
Jeff's response was elegant.
"**censor**...You"
"We love you too" snickered Percy back and he disabled the intercom.
Furious rants could be heard from the other side of the ship.
Kaley shook her head.
"At least everyone's going to be awake now...
