Here's a short story I wrote. I may add more chapters or make spin-offs from it at some time in the future. Hope you all enjoy. Please read and review.
A Meeting Between Emperors
Max III, emperor of the foxes, was combing the fur on the top of his head for he wanted to look nice for his meeting with the emperor of Jerk Island. He was dressed in his finest green suit, complete with his golden crown.
“Do you think he’ll finally say ‘Yes’”, Max asked his adviser, Nathaniel.
“Honestly, no”, Nathaniel said
“Hmm, well if at first you don’t succeed, try try again”, Max said
10 minutes later, James II, emperor of the human realm of Jerk Island arrived. His wore a grey suit which looked old and dusty, like it had come from the attic of an old house. His long, black hair was messy, like he had just woken up. His appearance in many ways mirrored that of Jerk Island City, old, dusty and rough looking. Yet the man himself was only in his ‘30s, just like Max.
“Glad you could make it”, Max said
“I know what you want to ask me and the answer is still no”, James said
“Oh come on, I wasn’t going to ask that question again”, Max said
“Then, what do you want to talk about”, James asked
“You’re friend, the wolf emperor, has troops near the border between his empire and mine. Could you tell him to send them away”, Max asked
“It’s just for defense purposes surely. Besides, you have troops near the border too”, James said
“But I feel threatened”, Max said. He then looked at James with wide, puppy dog eyes.
“There’s nothing to worry about, Max and stop giving me the puppy dog eyes”, James said
“I’m just a cute, furry foxie. You don’t want to see me hurt do you”, Max said in a cutesy voice.
“I will never understand why you resort to this cute act every time you don’t get your way”, James said
“You’re mean. I’m going to go log onto the chat room later and tell everyone how mean you are”, Max said
“And I’ll log on too and tell everyone that you are immature. Anything else or am I free to go”, James said
“Well, how about selling me your island”, Max said
“You said you weren’t going to ask that question! The answer is still no”, James said
“Oh come on, please”, Max said
“No. You know what? I’m just going to leave. Goodbye Max”, James said
“You are to call him his highness”, Nathaniel said
“Get lost”, James said to Nathaniel before he stormed out.
“Well, that went well”, Nathaniel said sarcastically.
“Hmm, well at least he didn’t flip a table over like he did last week. Fetch me my computer and connect me to the internet. I need to tell the other members of the World Leader Chat Room about James’ rude behavior”, Max said
“As you wish”, Nathaniel said
