You need a special printer, I think? :s

I always gave this kind of requests to professionals. Look for a local printing house.

I guess you just draw the picture either digitally or traditionally, run it through a laminator, cut it out the way you'd want it and add a clip for the lanyard on it.

Might be I've got some steps wrong, I don't own a  laminator myself but I have a few badges.

I don't have a laminator :( I'll have to find some other way to do this.

You have 3 choices

1. Go to someone with a laminator: school, library, printing shop

2. Buy a laminator and lamination sheets

3. Buy self lamination sheets that don't need a machine. You can probably find them in a stationary shop or on amazon.

I got my Laminator of Amazon for 25€ (30-ish $) and it came with a bunch of sheets.

Commonly made beginner mistake:
Don't cut the foil after laminating too close to the picture. It's best to leave about ~5mm of foil standing on every side of the picture. It will wear and tear and 5mm is a good amount which will keep the picture itself safe for a couple of months (depending on use)
Also don't forget to leave a space where to punch a hole through. Pretty much self explanatory, but I've done that before too xD

Also: The first time you use it, it's gonna smell badly. And I mean worse than a dog fart. Far worse. Do it near an open window. If you don't use it for some time, the next time will smell too, because the dust inside it will burn from the heat.
