I'm Aldebar, or at least I hope to be using that name more often. I've been going from community to community trying to find a place to get myself back into the furry community, because I find myself wanting to make an effort to communicate with more people online. However, after years of being out of touch with it I've also fallen out of touch with the identity I had, which led to a long period of trying to find a species again. I think I've made a good choice in a shaggy hoofed horned herbivore, made partially of the beasts that once roamed the northern plains I call home in unimaginable numbers. Bovines have very solid stances and can be pretty intimidating, but they're also docile enough to be domesticated, which is good because I don't think I could be scary if I tried.
Like I said, I've been community hopping. I like these forums so far because I used to spend the majority of my online time posting on message boards when I was younger, and because while I'm not entirely opposed to the more adult side of the fandom, I just do not want to see these things a good 79% of the time and I've had to delete my account on at least one social network because it turned out to be too much for me. Everything in moderation, and all that.
I am a computer science major and my interests include gaming and game development, sciences, messing around with computers, and drinking way too much soda. I'm hoping to find some good discussions to involve myself in, maybe even do some role-playing and work up the gumption to check out the IRC.
