Ressurect and Exterminate (Australlia Themed RP: OPEN)

I was all of a sudden in the mood for an Australian themed RP involving bunnies and stuff. I'm still trying to work out the plot, but I got the general synapses.

Plot:
You have arrived on a large continent in a city filled with rabbits who welcome you peacefully to their village. But not all seems well at the moment. You see several rabbits gathering together, discussing their "impending doom." They say that a group of creatures plan to resurrect a giant demi-god the people on the continent call "The Great Mammoth Wombat," and that if they succeed, the rabbits could be wiped out. They have tried in vain to get others to help them defeat these "cultists" and "save their continent." But all the while, you are only told half of the story: their half. Your mission is to find the cultists and wipe them out, but will reason arise to divert yourself from said mission? Only you can find out the truth.

Skeleton, as in "form." I really should have spaced it from the actual form, though. Also, "Adhesive Wombat?" Wait, what?

I would say modern sounds about accurate. Maybe a little pre-modern, because there will be caves and adventure.

I might not be able to post consistently, but if that's not a problem, I have a few questions o3o

1) Can my character be a rabbit? (Although not necessarily a 'native' rabbit from the continent.)
2) Who will lead the 'native' rabbits?

1: Actually, there is basically an alliance triangle between the main characters, the "Native Rabbits," and "the Cultists." The Cultists hate rabbits, and having a Rabbit in the main characters roster could add some nice flavor. So yes, you CAN play as a non-native rabbit.
2: For now, my character Chip.

Here are my characters.

Name: Ralph Shindrow
 Age: 17
 Species: Opossum
 Appearance: An anthropomorphic possum with a black and brown striped shirt and tan colored pants. He also has a ring pierced through his ear.
 Personality: Ralph always wanted to go to Anthrallia to learn about his fellow Marsupials. He's a bit jittery and easily excited, and he always carries an opossum action figure around.
 Backstory: He's a Highschool student who is doing research on Marsupials. He saved up a lot of money to afford a trip to Anthrallia, and finally has enough to do so. Little does he know he might meet new friends along the way.
 Other:
 
 Name: Chip
 Age: 20
 Species: Rabbit
 Appearance: He is brown furred and wears a green jacked and navy-blue jeans. He doesn't wear shoes, though.
 Personality: He seems very friendly and supportive. He's always saluting everyone he comes across and has a very nice tone, saying everything with a smile.
 Backstory: He is the leader of a large group of rabbits in Anthrallia who are trying to rebel against the cultists trying to resurrect GMW. His home base seems very small, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of members, but he is still optimistic.

 Name: Bungora
 Age: 36
 Species: Wombat
 Appearance: He is a wombat, somewhat angry looking with sunken eyes and a huge purple robe on it. Not much of his body is apparent besides his head, hands and feet.
 Personality: He seems pretty cold towards strangers, and will often try to convert others to his "cult." While he shows true animosity towards outsiders, he seems to show a strange, nurturing nature towards his fellow cultists.
 Backstory: He has a tragic past that will be foretold in the story. He seems fairly skilled in magic, something that was almost unheard of. He wishes to resurrect the Great Mammoth Wombat for some kind of order and balance, but his motives are a bit wishy-washy.

 Backstory: No one knows who or what he is except his closest servants. ...But who are his closest servants? He might be the real villain, but who he has working for him is a mystery.

I also just want to point out I like the name Bungora. Seems very bunnylike, even if he's a Wombat


I do have a bunnylike character. It's kind of an alien bunny, however. Is it allowed to partake, by chance?

You can, but you should probably remove the more alien traits.
