Somewhat odd question

So  what are the front legs of a normal fox? are they plantigrade or digitigrade? I can't tell and I needed some help with this one.

It'd be digitigrade since they lack heels to their forelimbs. Digitigrade simply refers to the position of the foot, not the design of the leg it's attached to.

Even though their foreleg design is more plantigrade in looks?

why are their forlegs so straight compared to thier back legs and

Like I said. Plantigrade/Digitigrade is the foot not the leg. But, if you look at the skeleton of a dog, their front legs have that same bend in them, it just looks higher up and is less visible due to the ribs and chest cavity.



So both the front and back legs of a dog are, indeed, digitigrade. However, the picture you shared shows a purely plantigrade design due to the fact she has visible heels.
