What other people think shouldn't matter to you or define who you are. If somebody dislikes one of your interests and tries to put you down about it, they will want you to bow down to them and hop on the bandwagon, which will give them the satisfaction of victory. Now I want to point out that in your article, it seems that you get punished for mentioning/being a furry? Did I read that right? Anyway, if this IS the case, you shouldn't be punished for being in an internet subculture that society has made false bias about. Which, as a school, should be supporting furries since they mean no harm. Schools normally revolve around the "rule" that everyone is an individual. Your school seems to toss that into the trash bin without any consideration or discussions on the furry subculture. Do you have any friends in the fandom? If so you guys can get together in your own personal furry "club" like me and my friends did, of course our school isn't too bias centered... Anyway this is all I can think of to say so just be yourself and don't worry about what others think of you. Best of luck to ya!
