done some art recently what do you think

so ive recently been dabbling in art and ive had 2 attempts so far (sent in order done neither are finished really) and have trouble with eyes and ears and no clue about shading but basically what do you think any advice (im using photoshop to do it btw) i know there a bit amateurish but they are my first 2 attempts

also i have been looking at tutorial which have helped but it there any you would recommend thinking of having a tiger fursona (may try dragon or wolf currently between them)

Those are very good for first attempts. I wouldn't worry about finishing them any farther than you have. At this stage you'll benefit more from doing lots of drawings than from spending a lot of time refining them.

Are you sketching first and then doing the final linework, or just going straight into final lines?

do you mean sketching on paper? if so then no i just go straight to photoshop though maybe its something i should consider though thanks

I believe he meant like making a simple crude version of the image. In Photoshop you can do it with a semi transparent layer that you can then draw on top of. Helps you visualise things.
And since, as John said, you should definitely just draw lots and lots without focusing too much on quality, it's a way to draw two images for each idea. Kind of.
You could try it.

i think ill try that 2 image idea looks like good practice thanks and i think i have been trying the get the basic image going in one layer then use it as a sort of rough guide i found that helped

What HellEye said. Photoshop's layer's are great for that. You can sketch it out on one layer, then make that layer transparent and do the clean lines on another layer.
