Raz didn't notice the needle go in but soon after he leaned his head to the side of the table he was on, "Gurk. Grahhh!", and with that he started to vomit up stomach bile, and some of the black sludge from before. He stopped puking fairly quickly and his chest started to rise and fall quickly when he put his head back to what position it was before.

Ibi sat next to Clare, strapping himself in and holding out a paw. He had come to the conclusion that he hated transport in general, and he could really use the moral support right now.

Nora opened her eyes and emerged from Zephyr's jacket as soon as she felt the wind weaken - a telltale sign that they were inside. Her face was bright red, but she seemed fairly well composed after being effectively pressed against his torso.

Zephyr was about the same, but he was hiding his face with his hat a bit.


Raising an eyebrow, Clare took Ibi's paw and held it firmly. "...Not one for vehicles?" she asked.

The Crawler, once everyone boarded, began its journey back to the outpost. Another sandstorm kicked up, but hardly moved the machine.

After a little while, Raz fell asleep from the immense exhaustion.

The Crawler's journey was long and arduous, but the machine eventually reached the outpost. Everyone was allowed to relax and recuperate as they needed. The people there catered to their every need.

After Raz was treated and they found out what was wrong with him, it was simply a heavy fever, do they just had him lay down and stay still, also, most of the black sludge was removed,  and as of this moment, there was no way of telling how  much more was still left.

Clare helped Ibi inside, seeming oddly better despite the several bruises on her body.




Zephyr helped Nora in, still hiding his face with his hat.
