Hello! Questions

Hello everyone, I just joined recently and I am new to the whole furry stuff but I was really interested in it, and therefore I decided to make this forum account to chat with the community as I have a lot of questions.


First of all, can someone help me draw my fursona? I am willing to get it done as whatever animal, and I don't expect any of you to draw it for me but do you guys know of any tips to drawing one? I myself don't draw much, but I can draw birds, not people.


Second, why do people hate furries so much? I always see people hating on them, and I know there are some really weird people out there but most people aren't that bad right?


If you guys need to tell me anything, please do. I am really new and if I do something that is not supposed to be done, just tell me

I don't know why some people hate furries so much. From my point of view it's not much different than other fandoms, like Trekkers, except that's it's a fandom for a genre/style, rather than for a specific franchise.


There are a few threads in the art section (I think), with drawing tips and tutorials that you might find helpful.

If you want some advice, tips, tricks, etc. to draw yourself? Check out if any topics we have currently ongoing in the Artistic Stuff board might offer some help.

As for people hating or disliking furries, as with everything that exists there are so many misconceptions. It is mostly due to misconceptions that people tend to dislike/hate furries.
Other times it's simply just not their thing. Not necessarily hating the furry fandom, just not interested in it or liking it.
