Got bored, started digging up old poems from when I was in high school.  Lemme know what you think ???
Diamond Irony

The lights, the lights!
They burn, burn
But it feels so right
I yearn, I yearn
Even though tis' bright
You cut
I bleed
Yet I hug
This gleam
Nothing more,
Than the sheen
That you see in doors
Maybe rings
Maybe not
Maybe in heaps
Maybe gone
Doesn't matter
I'd much rather,
Hold that glittery irony
Sickly Obessesion

As I stare into the door
I feel the air sway
Blowing past, like water in a creek
It reeks, but it seeps
I can't turn, but can't see
Like a bug, in a light
Zap zap!  Love love!
Why oh why, does this obessesion exist in me

Why do you cry?
I fear I have done something wrong
You turn to me and say
Young kit, this is your day
Fear not the outside world
Fear not any peril
Those you fear will fear you
Young alpha of the alphas
Seek within you,
You will find the beast
Seek deeper
And you will find the beauty
Leave on the prowl, young kit
Leave on the hunt, young kit
Leave to 'fend, young kit
Leave to feed, young kit
The pride is much too large, to have two alphas
I turned to my parents
Speaking only in looks
Fear not, elders,
Today I fight
Fear not, elders,
Today I prowl
Fear not, elders,
Today I hunt
You have raised me well
For this alpha, leaves the nest
High shall my tail be,
Sharp forever my claws evermore
