Allergies/Intolerances?

It seems like almost everyone has some sort of allergy or intolerance, what about you?

My parents found out that I was allergic to hospital administered Demerol when I was in the hospital with a broken leg somewhere around 1992.
I cannot be in contact with the metal material nickel for an extended period of time or I start getting a rash. I cannot have coffee or chocolate or my esophagus will get inflamed and/or close up.

Luckily haven't had any issues so far. It's a shame to hear about your allergies, well done for dealing with them though.

I'm allergic to breathing.

Pretty much anything in the air, that is. Pollen, dander, etc. I am eternally cursed with a runny nose.

I'm not really Allergic to anything if were talking about things that are dangerous, but I get allergies in the spring sometimes and thats annoying

Esophageal Inflammation. Damn, that's rough.


I don't have anything that causes anything that severe. I do, however, become intolerant of milk every once in a while. Dunno the biological source of it; If it was due to a lack of enzymes, I'd have thought I'd be permanently intolerant of it, but no, only every once in a while, usually after I've eaten too much sugar.


On the subject of medical problems, though, I've had this weird thing happen to me about six times in my life, when I've witness some sort of extreme body deformity or mutilation (e.g. that infamous toenail scene from Spongebob's "House Fancy") and I get a two-minute dizzy spell. Also, if I run afoul of some short-tempered authority figure, I get a fever.


Not exactly allergies, but I thought they might be interesting from a medical standpoint.

Allergies:
Pollen and nickel


Intolerances:
Lactose sensitivity (as in I can ingest moderate amounts of dairy, but a large milkshake or a big portion of nachos will have an effect)
I also get a very mild irritation in the mouth and throat from eggs and fat

Not really allergies, but chocolate gives me a rash and artificial red food dye makes me go bat-s**t crazy

I don't have any major allergies that i know off. But i do have a little thing with white chocolate that makes me sick from time to time.
