Everyone is familiar with the concept of a web-comic by now, so I'm not going to bother describing one. My fiance' and I had the idea of doing a bit of a twist on one.

A few years back, I ran across something that I will refer to as a perpetual story. Basically the same concept as a web comic, but instead of a comic each submission (be it weekly, bi-weekly, tri-weekly, or what have you), it was a new chapter to a story.

So my fiance' and I wondered - Is this something that people would be interested in?
The story that we're thinking of is furry/fantasy based, and adult rated (tho, we might do a dual site with a tamer version on it).

Just testing the waters I guess.

As a published author, I can assure you I understand the hesitation.
I would go ahead and put your project out there. Market it and see what happens.
You may be pleasantly surprised as to who is reading and watching.

Congrats on being published ^^ I've only finished a few things. Honestly, I was hoping to see if people liked the idea or not, not necessarily if they would read it (as I realize part of that is taste in the story, part is taste in writing style, etc).

I get that. We're trying to keep it interesting, and at the same time, not have too much sex. (for the adult version)

I'm gonna be honest, I think for a serious story, any sex is too much. At least, the graphic stuff. Fanservice in general doesn't really sit well with me for some reason.

Right. Which is why we're going to have the sex scenes optional. There's going to be a clean(er) version and an adult version. The cleaner version will still be PG-13, still allud to it, but won't have it spelled out. More like:

And there, in the darkness, they made love.
