As the topic suggests, I'm looking into getting recipes that everyone may like to share, preferred types are those that are easy to make and are easy on the wallet. Here's one that's I know by heart:

Chicken and rice with 'white sauce' (similar to Alfredo) ((Specific measurements will be added in when as soon as I can))

Ingredients required:
  • 1 Can Cream of Chicken
  • 1 Container of Sour Cream
  • 2 Small Cans of Canned Chicken (Precooked)
  • 1 Bag of Success Rice (preferred) or 1/3 Cup of Minute Rice

First boil the rice however you prefer, I use a microwaveable dish to boil mine. Next, in a seperate container, mix the cream of chicken and sour cream together thoroughly and simmer (or microwave for a minute), then add in chicken and mix as desired. Let it continue to simmer (or put back into the microwave for another minute). After preparation of sauce and rice are done, serve and enjoy.

The above recipe is the most simple variation as others I have include replacement of the water with beef or chicken broth for flavor in the rice, or canned cheddar instead of cream of chicken for a different flavor on the sauce.

Ahh this sounds simple but its one of my favorite snacks.

Peanut butter and banana tortilla:

One tortilla or as many as you wish, I use soft taco size
Peanut Butter crunchy or creamy can also be replaced with cashew butter or any other butter
Bananas or any other fruit you prefer

Spread the peanut butter on the tortilla, heat it and place the fruit on, it is also good when you fry it.

There ya go.    :)

I can't cook for the life of me. xD
I once broke a toaster trying to make a poptart.. ._.

But one day my friend and I decided to skip class and spend the
day at her house since her parents were away.. and while blaring
rock music and air-guitaring it up on the furniture we got hungry..

and somehow ended up making peanutbutter and bacon sandwiches.
And oddly enough it wasn't bad. xD

Yay for a story and a weird recipe! :'D
"We're all mad here" =}
