My last post is from August 2015. Crazy, right?
To little surprise, I'm still a furry, and my fursona is still a cat named Salem! These days that name is also part of my art/music alias, so I mostly end up going by it online rather than my real name. I'm actually going to my first furry con in a few weeks, so I'm excited for that; I've only been to anime cons prior to now. I'd planned to go last year but I got sick ^^;
Despite being "in the community" as long as I have, I still feel like I'm only really hovering on the fringes of it haha
I'm glad I remembered this place because I'd apparently posted all the photos of my old fursuit, which I'd thought had been lost. I don't have that suit anymore, but I very recently was able to make a new one with my 'sona's updated design, so it was fun to be able to compare them.
Anyways what all have I been up to... almost dropped out of high school, did drop out of college, went through a lot of different jobs (most long-term of which was being a gas station shift manager), went back to college, finished my B.A., am currently working on my M.A., and soon I have to start applying for PhD programs (scary). Also done a lot more creative stuff that would take too long to list out here lol
I don't know if I'm back-back, but I may make an effort to start posting here again; I've been getting back into being on forums in the past two-ish years, what with the steady decay of social media and all that (Discord included, unfortunately). Mostly I'm active on a vocal synth one. Either way, thanks for letting my remissness about my teen years for a bit ✌️
