The LT turns the MG-42 against the Germans holding the lines on the beach, the weapon raining bullets on them.

Tom opened fire next to the LT with his Kar98K, gunning down the Germans holding the beach.
The world can be a horrible place, so give it a taste of it's own medicine

Name: Greg "Newf" Reid (Call me Reid or Newf seeing as we have another Greg)
Division: 1st Infantry
Rank: Private First Class
Specialization: Sharpshooter (Sniper)

Steadying his Springfield M1903 rifle he looked down from a shoreline cliff just off to the North-East of the beach at the chaos. After landing and the majority of his boats crew cut down by the MG-42's he managed to find himself a higher up area and waited until this point to make sure that, if anyone did see him go there they would of gave up waiting for him anyway.

After relaxing his body and slowing his breathing he looked down the scope, studying the area and the positions of his allies before moving on to the enemy. Once he had most targets marked in his head he opened fire on the most threatening ones to those at the shingle. Taking one shot every few moments as not to completely blow his position he managed to silence one gun when either people ran out to man it, or they simply knew it was a dead zone.

Making sure to ease his way and avoid any mines that may of been placed he slowly relocates to a new position, again assessing the enemy and taking out the top priority targets effectively, every shot counting. Thinking out loud  "I hope this ends soon, I lost most of my ammunition, I only have about 20 rounds left and I will have to move once I get low..." he whispers to himself hoping his support was enough for the medics to finish what work they were doing and everyone find proper cover or take the bunkers before he ran out.
