Ok, correct me if I'm wrong but that has nothing to do with Facebook.

Unless you're completely ignorant to security updates and don't use Windows Updates you're perfectly safe. As for writing your passwords down..that's really secure. Why don't you write your credit card PIN down as well?

Er, yeah. I wouldn't risk having my password written anywhere either, that someone could easily find. Unless, maybe, if you put that piece of paper in an actual safe or something.

But basically... Just don't click anything if you don't know exactly where it's coming from. Use common sense and keep your computer security updated, and you don't have to worry about it.

Golden rule 1: Never click on suspicious e-mails or links.

Golden rule 2: If somebody on the internet tells you to either click on or download something, and said person is not either
A. Some kind of tech support or employee from a reputable company.
B. Somebody you know EXTREMELY well.
C. Any sort of reputable source.

Don't do it. Unless you know what you are getting into, just don't.

Golden Rule 3: Always make sure your system and software are updated. This includes Anti-virus and firewall software. Also, make sure your system is configured properly. Your computer is not a barn, so don't leave doors open.

It'll happen on anywhere people can post links which go to the virus. Just don't click links from people you don't know and it'll be fine.
