It is, but the best thing to do in that case is to not respond to it. It only fuels the "drive" that these individuals have to continually post this material.

My only other experience with furry stuff was with a newspaper-esque style comic that actually gave me nightmares.  These experiences are what drove me here, just so I could get it straight.  I'm glad you guys are more friendly than I imagined.

With 955 characters for a signature, I can try make something funny or interesting but no, I'm just gonna sit here and type instead of going to work because breaking the fourth wall is more humour than trying to figure out how I'll get access to my other laptop; picking up my charger that I left at a friends house, around 40 miles away...

the Dramatica site is just made to make lots of internet drama, just ignore them, I may not be a furry, but every furry I met so far isn't a sex crazed maniac like the Dramatica says, so nothing to fear.

everything that has been said is true (In this thread) we aren't scary sex crazed freaks, the media is totally to blame for that as well as a few unsavory members of the community, plus shows like....CSI i think it was with their episode on us, it's ridiculous how some people take what the mainstream media says as truth all the time. well anyway welcome and enjoy your stay.
