At least it's not submitting more than one application to one of the few places in town over the span of a year-and-a-half... then getting to the interview and being told you're "too qualified" (had a witness there to hear that one).

Now that's just plain stupid. There's no real reasoning behind not hiring someone because they're too qualified, in my opinion.

Well, I have a decent job due to that, but yes it is a rather stupid concept of being "over qualified".

Well, I guess they want to hire under-qualified people who fit a certain demographic to fill their affirmative action quota.
