The whole town is based around lake Lewisville. Most of the schools have something with lake in it.

Hey im from the Belton and Temple area, and i would love to meet some new furry friends! I just moved here from Michigan, and im kind of shy at my new school, and not so sure how they would take me, walking around with a tail and such..(ik how some people are ;D but im not ashamed at all, only my parents are but XD im sure some know how that is.) But i would love to meet some new friends with similar interests as me!

Hey Kitty, Welcome to Texas.  I know your feeling for looking for some furry friends. I live out in Brownwood Texas and its a small country town and I feel like I am the only furry here. But, just so you know you will always find friends here on the forums.

I actually have some news, I'm going to be moving to Michigan in June, guess parents miss back home huh? But I'm happy I got to talk to some furs, even though it would have been nice to meet some in person!

I'm definitely going to the ren faire this year is I can. I won't be wearing a fursuit (don't own one anyway ^^'), probably just standard medieval fashion. But it would be cool to see some out there.
