Green Dialogue: Rana
Blue Dialogue: Nami
About twenty minutes ago, Nami started to get a bad feeling. It was an icy sort of shiver, starting at the tips of her ears and spreading down to the tips of her toes- causing fur to stand on end in the process. "Nami?...Nami?" Nami jolted to attention at her ten-year-old sister's words, her ears swiveling upright so they could hear more accuratley. "Yes hun?" Young Rana paused for a moment, then..."Are we ever gonna get mom and dad out? We aren't gonna just leave em...are we?"
Their parents were currently locked up in federal prison- their crime having been trying to protect their children. As for Nami and Rana, now they were on the lam. This was the third day since the federal agents busted down the front door of their home in Florida-
"I'm not sure anymore. I'm really not." "But Nami!" Rana's eyes narrowed and the tucked her snout in closer to herself. A subtle pout. Meanwhile, her tail began to wiggle ever so slightly with worried anxiety. Nami sighed, and loosened her grip on the steering wheel of the Lexus car. Outside, Utah desert flashed by. "Sweetie, the thing is...there's not much we can do about it. If we try to break into there and bust them out it's like commiting suicide. You know our parents love us, and we love them, but we can't save them if we're locked up ourselves." Nothing. Rana had gone deathly quiet in the passenger seat. "Rana? Please answer. I'm sorry, okay?" Still nothing. Nami at last looked over to see her sister eyeing the rear view mirror fearfully. "What do you see? What is it?"
Before Nami had time to look herself, another car rammed into theirs, and they began spinning off of the lonely highway and into the ditch.
