Kitt looked up suddenly "uh... yeah... its from my brother...." he held it out for Ross to read, forgetting that it was all in Slovak....

"Uhm... Okay"

[KittKat chunky~]

"oh..." kitt took it back "forgot ya cant read it... he just says that parents are fine, though still hate me... the family dog died and the crops are really bad this year... all in all... happy news..."

[Lone-Wolf]

"Well, I could be the replacment dog" Ross joked as they walked along the corridor

Kitt looked over at Ross as they turned towards the canteen... "can this be?.... is Ross getting his sense of humour back?!" Kitt laughed, watching Ross's tail swish as he walked out of the corner of his eye...

"Nope, I'm depressed again" he continued to tease as they finally entered the canteen

Kitt laughed as they walked in through the canteen doors, a few people looked their way but generally nobody really took much notice... everyone was too interested in the food or conversations around them.... "well... if todays special doesnt cure your depression i dont know what will...."

"That special being?" said Ross, hoping Kitt would attempt reading the menu

Kitt walked up to the menu on the wall of the canteen, tongue sticking out of the corner of his mouth in concentration he read over the words a few times before turning back to Ross....
"uh.... i cant read it in English  "

"That's okay! I can't read Slovakian!" said Ross cheerilly "Anyways looks like it's steak with black pepper and chips"

Kitt smiled happily "seems you got your humour back... about time too... anyay.. steak and chips! lets go!"

"Do you do these in rare?" asked Ross to which the lunch lady replied disdainfully "NO" before handing the smallest steak she could find to Ross and mumbling something about grubby little cookie thiefs

The lunch lady slapped down a steak onto Kitt's plate before he could say a word, throwing on a load of chips she pointed with her thumb to tables..."next...." following Ross Kitt sat down at one of the empty tables with him...
