chrono, you're going to have to change your post. you guys are on ground level, and the archers are on the top of the inner castle walls that stand well over 80 feet.

We climbed up walls before... and the adrenaline might help with that extra 30 feet.

Although if its just me and Drevo going up there, we would be better as a distraction than an actual attack force.

we've climbed up OUTER walls. These are the inner walls, and you're not using your weapon as a step anymore, either.

I feel like I'm speaking with a dungeon master when I'm asking this, but oh well:

I'm imagining that all the archers are lined up on the side opposite of the gate we came through.


1. Is the door (to pass the inner wall) right in front of us, and if so, can we simply force the door open and continue dodging arrows?


2. If not, would it be possible for Talin and Drevo to survive being sent flying more than 80 feet into the air?

As I stated before, they are on TOP of the wall, 80 feet above you. The gates are located on opposite ends, so you will have to circle around to the northern side to the main gate. There are small entrance doors at the bottom of each wall-tower for soldiers, but they are thick with 5-inch wood and have full iron hinges, locks, handle, and even vertical iron bars that lock the door, 2 inches thick.

also, keep in mind that between the inner wall and the outer wall, is the actual city around the castle. There's a mile between the inner and outer wall, further proving the accuracy and deadliness of the archers. also, remember that in the central tower of the main castle, there are also archers who are shooting explosive arrows, so yea. Talin and Drevo will have to be quick and discreet. as i told cuddles earlier, you will also have to be quiet enough as well. if what you do is too loud over the explosions, the archers will immediately know you're there.

So I assume by you stating that they are on top of the 80 foot wall, is your way of saying that they will fill us with arrows before we even reach an altitude increase of 20 feet.

Thank you for making the mental image clearer, and for keeping me from getting more silly ideas on how to deal with the archer problem.
