The Arctic Forest

Chrono notices the dent in the snow that he made last night, and almost started barking at it. "We can follow that!"

[Shinzuu Katame: Her Tolfy]

"Calm down, child, that one's from the wolf from earlier. Listen, Trinity, I don't know either. I got lost half the day, yesterday, after the storm came out of no where and lost my son. Our new objective, is to find roughly where we are. Hey cat, you lived in this shelter quite a while. You know where we are?"

Kitt mewled in protest at the flipping, giving up on any complaint or witty remark, and instead slid down off her back, landing into a deep snowdrift with another mewl of displeasure... re-emerging, covered in snow he gave himself a shake, katching back up with the others... "cold stuff snow"

[Shinzuu Katame: Her Tolfy]

"So where are we, cat?" Getting slightly irritated.

"well Mr. big bad wolf... that, is a question... yessir that is a question... " the small cat sauntered towards a tree, gave it a good sniff and squinted off through the swirling snow... "well.... we are here, in a forest... and its bleeding cold...."

he caught Shinzu's eye, and licked his lips with a small pink tongue "by which i mean... ehe, no need to get in a tizzy.... we are around three miles away from the edge of the forest in that direction, where there is a large clearing... and then the forest continues, for miles and miles..... ive only been to the edge of the clearing... past that aint my territory.."

Eyes the cat cautiously. "You better not be lying to us. I swear to Mother Earth, I am not as forgiving as Trinity, and I WILL eat you if you betray us. We need to find that human village. I intend to drive them out of here. We've already lost our home. I will not be losing anything else."

"i may be an annoying feline... but i aint lying to you.... go out into the clearing, three miles in that direction.... the human village is in the clearing... huge clearing it is... wasnt there one year... next year they had cut the trees down to make shelters.... you'l find the village there...." the cat sauntered off in the direction of the human village, calling back cheekily... "i reckon i wouldnt taste that nice anyway..."

Chrono was borderline tired, too small to follow Shinuu in the snow, and too young to walk on his own.

[Shinzuu Katame: Her Tolfy]

flips chrono back onto his back. "I know you want to be strong, my son. But please stop jumping off my back. I carry you for a reason. What is your name, cat?"

The small feline stopped, licking his paw as he sat in a large snow drift, waiting for the other... and amber eye watched the wolf with curiosity.... "the names Kitt... and yours Mr.Wolf?"

[Shinzuu Katame: Her Tolfy]

"Stop sleeping so much, you might have heard it. I'm Shinzuu. This is my son, Chrono. And our near death friend over there is Trinity."

Kitt nodded, eyes still following the wolf closely.... "so.... other than for my insatiable humour and my uncanny knowledge of our surroundings, what part do i play in your great plan?" the small feline jumped up onto Shinzuu's back, curling up beside Chrono "heyup, hope ya dont mind sharing.... and wake me up Mr.Wolf, if ever you need one of my witty comments..."

She looks at Kitt and nods her head and walks closer, "Hello there"

Chrono growled at Kitt, flames seeping out of his mouth. The one iconic part of his mentality was his hostility to anyone he didn't consider family. At this moment, Kitt was the most likely candidate for "not family".

[Shinzuu Katame: Her Tolfy]

Looks over to Trinity. "Help me look for shelters on the way. I doubt we're going to make it to the village by the time the weather picks up for the worst of it." Continues to move forward in the indicated direction after licking his pup. "Be good, child. We need him to get out of this nightmare."
