Then after the smog and smoke clears, Chrono is standing in the crater, dressed like Jack Skelington turned dragon, except his suit is now a trenchcoat and the bony physique is much more bulky*

Chrono smiled and then spread out his arms, then stretched his wings out as all the braziers and lanterns in halloween town gave off either an eerie green or purple fire, and the ghouls lost any human-like traits. The end result was a bunch of demonic undead crawling all over halloween town, and he materialized a scythe from black flame.
