Kin Chronicles Realm: Betrayal of the Guardians

Ferdande delivered a hard round house kick to Drevo's head which sent him to the floor. Before he could get up he was kicked in the gut and sent across the floor. Ferdande didn't stop with it, he delivered kick after kick until Drevo started coughing up blood. "Ferdande, stop!" "I *Kick*...Can take *Kick*...It...!" "Drevo has to learn to defend himself. There is no enemy that will let him do such a technique. It's going to increase his endurance." A few more kicks and Drevo stopped moving all together. That's when Ferdande stopped and Alexia rushed over to see if he was even alive. Ferdande walked over to White and Vo casually and scratched the back of his head. "Yo, think can borrow your student, Vo? I think I went a little to crazy on Drevo..." Drevo was alive, but unconscious and bruised and bleeding all over.

Kitt and Lo moved on from swordplay back to archery training, and back, and forth, and back, and forth. Kitt's arms ached as he raised his crossbow for what felt like the thousandth time and aimed. Lo frowned, slapping his hand "Do not let fatigue lessen your aim... If you are tired when fighting you still need to hit your opponent..." kitt groaned, raising the bow up to shoulder height and squinting down the sights...

[Shinzuu Katame: Her Tolfy]

Vo walked over and assessed Drevo's body, but stopped in mid-stride as the shock-wave reached their end of the training area. To see Master Hajime fight like this for a 2nd time in my life, that boy must really be something. She stood over Drevo and examined his body. "Very well, I think this will be a suitable practice for him. Child! Put down that book and come here." Vo eyed Alexia as White made his way over, "And YOU, child. Bare in mind who you are and remember to show respect to those who received the title of 'O'. I know you are all childhood friends, but we have rules. Remember your upbringing." Alexia made a pouting face and looked to Ferdande for him to say something, but he just shrugged as if to say "What do you want me to do?". Vo smirked a bit as White knelt and assessed Drevo. "Here's a whole new test, child. If you mess this one up, he'll die. So make sure you cover everything, including emergency first aid."


Bo was faster, and snatched up her clothes before she could even get close to them. "You accepted the training conditions, now there's no turning back. However, if you need persuasion, I'll give it to you." Bo appeared directly in front of Kiana, reverting to his original form, and thrust his fingers into the magic channels in her body, releasing her of the locks she had been working under without knowing. "Cast any spell on the wall behind me. You'll see how much you've actually grown in these last few days." He covered his face as the shock-wave rumbled the area where they were, since they were the closest. "Looks like someone's getting it on. This is only the 2nd time I've ever seen the Master fight like this. Your beloved seems to be stronger than we gave him credit for."


Hajime grunted and deflected Korius off to the side with as much strength as she could muster. Korius caught himself in mid-air and gripped the ground, catching himself and skidding several meters before finally stopping. Hajime chuckled as she sheathed the wakizashi, and made three more clones which stood at the ready to fight while she began a long set of hand gestures, doing them as fast as she could, "This is one jutsu that no one has ever seen and lived to tell about. Not even my elite have ever seen this before. Let's see if you can fight it." The clones rushed Korius in a very coordinated fashion. Korius began to fight back, but they were not messing around and disarmed him first. It was a speed that Hajime had been holding back before, and was now showing. Korius cursed himself as the katana immediately flew out of his hand. Basics of fighting: Your enemy probably has a trump up their sleeve. Idiot. Korius invigorated himself with another rush of Ki and took Valia off his shoulders and swung it in a circle to gain some distance between him and his attackers, and threw Valia at the one clone that was actually off-balance. Korius unsheathed and threw a follow-through attack with the twin-sai at the clone. Clone #2 mustered some Chakra to increase her strength and deflected Valia, while the other increased her speed with her Charka and deflected the twin sai with her wakizashi. Korius used the opportunity and grabbed the katana, taking the all-too familiar stance. Shadow Kill Strike: Fire Form. What seemed like 15 Korius burst from the original and the ground tore as they rushed the closed in towards the clones, tearing them apart, and they disappeared. However, it already took too long. Hajime finished her gestures and her eyes glowed, Light Element Jutsu: Ultimate Regeneration Jutsu. The ground crushed under her feet into a small crater. As the dust settled, everyone in the entire training area could feel a sudden powerful presence. From the dust, Korius could see Hajime standing there, emanating that power, and even more surprisingly, looking as if she was about his age. As she spoke this time, she actually sounded like a woman, but looked more like a man. "This is the most forbidden Jutsu developed by myself, and perfected thanks to Her Majesty Koara. This will be my final test with you for your training." Korius prepared himself, but couldn't help but feel his arms and legs shaking. This was the first time since he was among the Guardians, that he felt power of this magnitude. Vo, Fo, Mo, Lo and Bo also felt all their fur stand on end. Each of them recognized Hajime's chakra wavelength, but couldn't believe the power emanating from it. They did their best not to show it, but even THEY were stricken with fear as Hajime continued to exert her presence.

Kiana wasn't surprised that Bo made sure that she couldn't get her clothes. She raised an eyebrow questioningly as she tensed when Bo started jabbing at her and then rolled her eyes at his "your beloved" comment. There had been too many times lately that people had said she and Korius were in love that it made it easy to just ignore their comments and not be bothered by them. She felt the emanating power coming from where Korius and Hajime were training but paid it no mind. Casting a spell at the wall behind Bo, she made a huge hand made out of rock come out of the wall and tap Bo on the shoulder with a finger that was longer than both of their heights put together. She waited for Bo to look behind him then made the hand wave at him before having it grab him and pick him up 20 feet off the ground.

*Looking down at Drevo, he just nodded to Vo off to the side and analyzed the situation* "So... here we are again, you have a habit of getting yourself hurt don't you? No worries, I'll fix you up!" *He focused his majicka energy into his hands and went to work quickly, making sure in this scenario to put much more detail into the work, patching together the muscle tissue on a microbial level to make sure there was no mistake in making obvious wounds look like small scars in but a few minutes* "As long as he doesn't put up to much of a struggle with me, all should go flawlessly.."

Talin didn't have the sensitivity to notice Korius or Hajime's increase, but he knew something was off as Mo didn't budge when his blade came close to cutting. So to get his attention back while not cutting off his feet, he moved his volge off to the side as he kicked out Mo's right foot.

"I may not have the sensibility for majicka or this 'chi', but it shouldn't have been that easy to trip you... or maybe you had a perverted thought, who knows?" He had the blade at Mo's neck, then jumped away so Mo could get up and re-organize his thoughts.

Drevo opened his eyes to see White over him in an all too familiar position. White was once again healing him, though it wasn't as painful as it usually was. He was getting more used to pain. "My bad, White...I guess I just got a little carried away..." He laid back as he usually had to do keeping as still as possible. It was only a couple times he twitched because of the pains, but for the most part he remained still.

Bo grunted as he was grabbed, but in a small flash of light, the earthen hand was diced. He landed onto the ground and chuckled, "Not bad."


Mo stood up slowly as his knees kept shaking, "This exceeds even just those who can sense it. Most normal people would even feel that power. Hajime's killing intent, her power, even her very presence is overwhelming. It's particularly more for us who can sense it all, but even those who are atoned to combat can feel it." It's the only time that anyone had ever seen fear on Mo's face.


Lo and Kitt stopped their training in mid-stride simultaneously and looked over. Kitt's knees immediately buckled under him and fell onto ground, his sword falling onto the ground. "What's this feeling? I haven't felt this s-scared in my life..." Lo shuddered, but managed to hold her ground and went over to help Kitt up. "The feeling of the dominance of power. It's the presence of someone who's killer instinct and power are exerted at a high rate to label their dominance. This is the first time that I've felt this myself. In the past, I've only experienced something mild to this when we ran from the Guardians..."


Vo stood off to the side and watched White work his magic. Try as she may, she couldn't hide her fear, either. Alexia had even jumped into Ferdande's arms at the outburst.


Korius shook the urges and fears from his body as he took a deep breath. The dust around him rose as he concentrated and the light of his eyes glowed brighter. Korius roared as the dust burst into a cloud and he released his Ki to max. The dust cleared and Korius emanated his own presence and power. The air around the two seemed to move around the two, and they stared each other down.


Each of the ninjas stopped what they were doing and watched the spectacle. Almost at the same time, they all spoke, "Here comes the last shot."

Kiana smirked. "I know." She responded before turning to look over at Hajime and Korius. It wasn't the presence of power that caused her to look just her curiosity as to how it was going to end. For some reason the feeling of all that power didn't really scare her. Sure it was an intimidating feeling and she felt like she could be crushed by either one of the two at any second, but it intrigued her more than anything else.

*The wolf ignored the majicka surge in the air and continued to work tirelessly upon Drevo's wounds* "Dang it, Drevo this is going to be a bit harder than I thought, grr." *He growled then looked behind himself for a moment to see Korius and looked back to his work* "If he gets too close to me, it could cause some unintended effects to my work." *He shrugged off his worry and worked faster to try to complete his work before Korius did*

Talin was at least slightly annoyed at seeing Mo with fear on his face. "I can sense killing intent and presence without my ancestor or the incantation. But, what you apparently can't do, is remember that we're not participating in that fight!"

Talin's frustration increased as Mo didn't move from his spot, which lead to Talin kneeling down to open up his needle satchel before throwing a needle at Mo. It seemed that it was a facade as Mo quickly caught the needle, but Talin wrote it off as instinct. "If Hajime went all-out, its probably because she doesn't want you to interfere. So, stop shaking your legs like a green-horn dragoon on his first hunt!"

Kitt struggled to his feet, but fell again, only just being caught by Lo. She sighed, letting him sit back down to the ground. Looking worriedly across at Korius she sat down opposite Kitt, watching him closely "I guess you can have a rest... You're doing well..." She crawled over beside him, putting one robed arm around his shoulders "You're father would be proud.... And when you find your mother, so will she..." Kitt looked up at her, mumbling under his breath "Thanks Lo... "

Korius took his stance for his technique as Hajime made hand gestures for hers. They stared down at each other as they built up their powers. Half the torches in their part of the arena had already blown out, being barely lit from the rest of the arena. Hajime finished her hand gestures and her eyes glowed green. "This is it." Ultimate Jutsu: 1,000 Feral Strikes. Like Bo, Hajime transformed into a more vicious-looking, more powerful version of herself, and rushed Korius in an instant, splitting into 1,000 different clones. Korius' eyes both glowed brightly as he prepared his launched his own attack. Shadow Kill Strike: Final Form All the torches throughout the training area went straight black before anyone could see the attack show itself. Flashes of sparks lit the whole area, revealing only the two clashing sword and claws in one instant. Then, utter silence. They all stood firm until finally, Mo's footsteps could be heard scaling one of the pillars. After some quick hand gestures, there was a quick silence before a line of flames escaped his mouth and re-lit the whole training area again.

Korius stood there, as if frozen in time. His back was to the others, sword down, and lacerations all over his body that leaked blood. Hajime had reverted back to her old form again in the same condition. "It seems you have indeed exceeded the limit... you have... achieved that level..." With that, she fell and the others ran straight for her. Vo began immediate treatment while Alexia and Fo held her still and did their best to keep her alive. Korius smirked and chuckled as he himself fell, being caught by Bo and Lo. Mo rushed in and struck various pressure points throughout Korius' body before inserting needles and stopped the bleeding. "It seems I'll have to work fast on you. I'm sure the dragon wannabe can wait." With that, Mo began to sew Korius' wounds up, removing needles after each stitch. Within seconds, Hajime regained consciousness and sat up, allowing Vo to continue her work. She looked over at Kiana, who was still the closest to the battle scene and mouthed words over to her, making it very apparent that they are words for Kiana alone. His power has reached the level to be similar to the weakest Guardian. However, he can't use most of his techniques with his Ki, and is still mentally unstable. Look after him. You may not want to admit it, but we know. Come to terms and be the sheath to that mighty sword so that it may never strike unto its allies.

Helpers from the village came down not even a minute after the the relighting of the arena and took Korius and Hajime out. The ninjas then returned to their "trainees" to continue their final training session.

Kiana watched what was happening, not panicking or moving an inch when the training area went black. When Mo re-lit the torches, Kiana didn't like how either of them looked but was hurt more by the sight of Korius than Hajime. She retained her tough looking exterior though as she stood there watching the two of them being taken care of by the others. Her eyes probably gave away a little of her emotion though. When Hajime looked at her she looked back then concentrated on reading her lips as she mouthed words to her. Her face changed to a stubborn look after the one part about her not wanting to admit "it" but them knowing, but she still nodded in response to show that she understood.

*Having pulled Drevo away from Korius by this point he set down his finished patient and looked up to gaze upon Korius* "That energy looks unstable from even my view, I hope these ninjas have some sort of plan..." *He looked over at Hajime and Kiana* "...That probably being related to said plan, everytime they meet it seems to be a private conversation, must be important." *He looked back down at Drevo* "Hope I didn't give you a floor burn, but I didn't want you to get burned or whatever could have happened." *To which he said with little excitement, but concern for his patient's well being*
