Come on, Myspace and Friendster CAN'T die. Yes, there has to be a limit, Virtual Reality is an attempt to reverse this problem!

Do you think that virtual reality, as it is right now, is just another fad from the stereoscopic monitor attempts of the past, to reign in "3D" again or is this the beginning of another revolution of immersion into entertainment and special services?

VR seems to be appearing everywhere, so it seems like it will be here to stay. With all the different products out there and the power in cell phones to produce VR environments, it seems to have taken off, previous attempts never went so far.

I suspect thought that VR itself will be limited to games more than anything, it's (smaller and slimmer) cousin Augmented Reality on the other hand is going to explode. Already you can translate text in real time and with things like Google Glasses (RIP) and Hololens, it seems a more useful and usable technology.

I actually did not really separate the two until now, but yeah, I could see augmented reality becoming a lot more important than VR.

Yes, a couple of times. Most recently was one in Peoria with the cub scouts.

I don't think so, I don't dream a whole lot anyway, but those that I do, and recall, tend to be different.

I have, both in the UK and USA.

Shops..it varied, depends who I was with and why I was there. The last time was for shoes I think.

On that note, do you believe that malls will eventually cease to exist?

They don't seem to be doing that well across the United States.

I think it'll be similar to the dot-com bubble.

Thousands of malls were built when it was a popular thing, Peoria itself has 6-ish shopping centers, with 2 of them being more mall like. One is suffering more. I think some will survive, depending on where they are and what they provide and others will have to adapt or close.

The "trimming of the fat" is a necessary process in fixing a bloated economy.
