Probably not. I don't have an extreme fear of needles or anything, it just seems like something could go wrong way too easily.

I been studding alternative medicine lately and acupuncture is actually very safe and it quite common  in China hospitals but every one has there own opinion

Do you really think the "herbal" medicine works? My grandmother has been squandering about over $800 a month on these meds, and my grandfather has Alzheimer's, the drugs seem to not help at all, in fact it doesn't seem to do anything other than lower their social security resource. They don't believe in doctor prescribed drugs and my mom has tried to give them to him time and time again, and for awhile he did take it and his memory recovered, but then my grandmother stopped doing it because of my mom's sister thinking the herbal medicine works and my grandmother always believes in the herbal stuff. Do you think that's a bit... false hoped?

Ok all form of medicine praticed will always have quacks (the actual term used ) ppl who tell you what ever to make money, when ever alternative medicine is used one should remember that it can't heal everything and if the conventional medicine is working and you want to find a alternative source under no circumstances SHOULD YOU STOP take you normal medians if its working. Just like any drug out there alternative medicine has diffrent effects on diffrent people, and alternative medicine doctor focus on the mind, body, and spirt so they may give you "false hope" but they don't always intend to they belive that a healthy mind is the key way to a health life.

I'm hardly an expert to be giving any kind of medical advice, but I personally think a lot of herbal/alternative/etc. remedies are psychological. Like how sometimes people can be "cured" just by using a placebo. But, obviously, that won't work with all kinds of illnesses. And while I do think a lot of people end up being overmedicated because more pills seems to be the answer to any problem that comes up, if prescribed medicine does help improve your quality of life, there should be a better reason why you wouldn't take it.
