I am that I am, even if only for a moment. And I will always try despite my flaws to summon what I can to become better than what I was.

Well, I live a couple hours from you. Watkins Glen area...

I'm right outside of NYC, in Westchester county.  It's literally a matter 35 minutes for me to get to Grand Central from my house.

Woah, that's fast. Sadly since the MTA sucks now, from all the construction it takes me about  45 mins. to a hour and a half to get anywhere.   >.>
Do you visit the city often?

Have yah heard of i-con at Stony Brook University... It's in April and I'm planning on going this year, yah wanna meet up? It's a really awesome scifi convention...^_^
Anybody else from NY planning on going and ya wanna meet up, that's totally cool too. Just pm me so we can plot, plan, and scheme. And maybe we can have some good fun being amongst friends of the fur path. I haven't gone to the convention in a while, and I lost contact with the group I use to go with... And everyone knows that it's way more fun to go with people then to lone wolf it. Plus it's safer in numbers. So join my clan and be part of the pack, it's all for the fun.  :3Mow!

Never heard of it - I don't typically go to conventions and the like.   But I'd be happy to join - I simply have to check my schedule.  I also have to see if my boyfriend can go, but I'll definitely see if we can make this plan materialize.

I think this thread should be renamed New York City furs or Long Island furs, since that seems to be the only area of the state responding here...

Aww... but that wouldn't be fare to the mainlanders who just happen to be apart of NY. Like Albany and Buffalo and... well I'm a citidiot what do I know about anything outside my small box I call home.

:S  I wish I could come out and play this weekend, but since I started school again, outside of planned events its been hard for me to get practically any free time for fun. That's why I hope people would come join me at I-Con cuz it's in April and leaves plenty of time to plan ahead.

^ I'm just below the Adirondacks, near Saratoga. I loove going up North, I go quite often. I normally go to areas like Wells and Northville.
