[Shinzuu Katame: Her Tolfy]

Korius spent the hour practicing his hand-to-hand combat on his wooden rotating practice dummy. (Like the ones in kung fu panda. those are real training dummies.) He then did some sit-ups and push ups, waiting for the others to showup.

Asia looked through the crack into the box. The faint glow toyed with its prison, muted and enhanced in different places, simultaneous.
He wanted to close the box... he didn't want to, he saw it, he felt it, he knew he had some time on him. He wanted to open the box. He wanted the everflame free, open for all to free.

The mission rumbled on. He was needed. He closed the box.


He took off his armour and searched his wardrobe for fresh clothes, taking loose fitting, airy items. Leaving the room, newly dressed, he passed by Korius' quarters, and Tabby was waking. He peeked in, smiling at the mess of ammunition and weaponry.
"You ok, kid?" he asked. The vixen sat up, holding her head. She looked around.
"The heck? I'm all mashed, what happened?" she asked.
"Go ask your hero. Korius saved you. That's his bed you're in," said the rabbit, freezing his face, keeping it as straight as he could. The fox could barely take it in.
"This is..." she looked around, her eyes widening. "Oh damn," she pulled the sheets around her.
"I'm going to go see him now, have a little spar, you're free to join." the rabbit turned, walked through towards the cargo hold, grinning like an idiot, stifling his giggles.








over Serra Draconis, the captain and the commodore continued their verbal manouvers.
"Commodore, we have no fugitives aboard. None that we know of at least." The meerkat nudged Max, the bear. He gestured back down the ship. Max nodded, relinquishing the controls of the ship as he bounded off down the steel corridors. He burst into the barrelled through the cargo hold, down towards Tina and the Lynx's quarters. He slammed his fist against the door.
"Hey, you kitties, best get up and get moving. We might have a GA firing squad on us in a second."


"Admiration, you are the only ship leaving this planet. The Triffid infestation has been noted, and therefore leads us to believe that a dangerous criminal would want to leave this planet. The only way he can do that is a ship, therefore we will be boarding your ship. Make yourself ready, we will be sending a shuttle down to you momentarily. Understood?" The meerkat stood there, his tailing twitching, his head shaking, his paws running along the control console.
"Understood." The communications halted, he pressed the intercom through to the whole ship. "Ladies and gentlemen of the Admiration, we are being peacefully boarded."

Kate looked up at the intercom,  and back down at the assembled marines..... she shrugged, leaning against the ships hull and waiting for said 'peacefull' boarding.... she looked to the side and noticed Kitt was copying her, leaning against the shipps hull.... she frowned slightly and stood up straight, loading her weapon.... peacefull or not, she didnt want to be unprepared when the bullets started to fly...

After spending a good amount of time in bed, Howl realized it had been about 45 minutes, and was time to make his way to the Cargo Bay. He took off his body armor, it wouldn't be needed for just sparring, then walked slowly to his destination. Truthfully, Howl wasn't in the mood to spar, it could create unnecessary feuds between him and Korius and/or Asia. He was very competitive, having the personality of the Aries (One who hates conforming to others he is not well acquainted with) and could get over serious about a mere training session. Though, he did not want to leave the impression that he was chickening out (Also a trait of an Aries). So, arriving 5 minutes early, he smiled as he saw Korius. "Hello, you've seemed to have gotten a head start."

Korius sighed as he had been resting for about 10 minutes, but he sweat stains still apparent. "I always have tight schedule and strict training when I'm not working. It's always good to maintain strictness in one's life. Particularly if we all need to see each other's fighting style to make future scuffles easier on us. We can't always rely on guns, that's why I carry my vibroblade with me. Guns, no matter the type and/or make, has limited ammunition. The same applies for your enemies. We will be sparring today to practice hand-to-hand combat and to learn how each person fights. Why don't you two do some stretches and warm-ups before we start? I have benches, weight sets, free weights, and mats. Get yourselves ready, we'll start in 15 minutes.

"KORIUS!" Tabby rockets past asia, bursting into the cargo bay, heading straight to the assassin. She dove forward, arms oustretched for a hug. Asia spun about as she passed him, then let out the heaps of laughter he'd been hiding. Hyena-esque giggles rippling out of his mouth, a sound he could barely control. He crouched to the floor clutching his sides in tears.



A GA shuttle spat out of the main carrier, zipping down towards the Admiration. Other ships could be seen burning down through the newly formed atmosphere. The approaching shuttle asked for boarding clearance, which was given without fuss. The captain brushed himself down and marched to the airlock just behind the cockpit. The docking clamps were secured and the airlock was pressurized. It opened and in marched a group of five soldiers, armed to the teeth. With them, walked an lupine officer in dark formal wear, lined with silver.
"We have orders to search the entirety of this ship as well as its crew and passengers. We expect no resistence."
"And you shall have none, the ship is open to you," the captain replied in his most official of voices. He stepped aside and the soldiers marched in, spreading out across the corridor. Two searched the cockpit, finding small gems and momentos from Max's previous flights. The others invaded the mess hall (nothing more than a kitchen with a long slim table in the middle. One of them found a side door with 'Captain' written on it. It was locked. The officer looked to the meerkat.
"Open it," he said. The meerkat hesitated for just a second, then looked around at the soldiers and sighed. Pulling keys out from his pocket, he let them invade his home.

Back past the cargo bay, Max reappeared from the leftmost door. Seeing Kate loading her weapon, he hollered out in a frenzy.
"Woah woah woah now hold on there, pretty. You best be cleanin' that gun and not loadin' it. I ain't goin' to jail again cus you soldier folk couldn't keep yer pistols in yer pants. Put 'em away," he said.

Korius stepped to the side and let Tabby land on the mat he was standing on. "I'm not really the hugging type. But... it's good to see you back to your normal self." Korius picked Tabby up by the arm and dragged her to the edge of the mat at the bench. He walked over to Asia and kicked the laughing man. "Very funny, mister bunny. How about we start the sparring with you then?"

Kate nodded approvingly... though grudgingly.. and slung her carbine over one shoulder....
"if you going to jail its gonna be your fault buddy... i aint gonna do nuthin'..."

The other assembled marines shrugged and carried on playing cards over which one plucky private had bet his entire ration of cigarettes....

...the stakes where high...

Tabby looked up as she was dragged, admiring the strength and speed of her saviour.
"Thanks for letting me into your bed," she said as she was moved to the side. She pulled her knees to her and rested her head upon them, smiling. Her tail wagged with a lethargic sway behind her while she watched Korius wherever he moved. Asia continued to chuckle as he was kicked. He stood up, failing to force down his grin.
"Sorry," he said, "but ok if you wanna spar, let's do it." Again he burst out into laughter, barely standing up. "It's okay! It's okay, I'm okay." He shook his head to hurl the smile from his face, as he stood ready, one foot in front of the other, one fist, one palm.
He was still smiling.

With a smile and quick movement, Korius took one step forward with the outside foot, grabbed Asia's hand, turned behind Asia, and threw him over his shoulder onto the floor. "That funny to you, mister renegade cop?"

Asia looked up, back towards the assassin, and smirked. Climbing to his feet, he faced the wolf again.

"Well, this will be interesting. I wonder when I get to have my $@%& kicked." Howl stretched his body as he watched Korius and Asia spar, and then glanced over at Tabby, chuckling at her "drunken" state. Looking to the sparing match, Howl looked at how the two fought, and their techniques they used to best their opponent.

Korius dropped his shoulders and seemed to shift his balance a litle back. He then sprang forward, coming in with a high-aimed kick.

Tabby giggled to herself in the corner, before looking over at Howl and beckoning him over.
The kick leaped at Asia, as he dipped and stepped forward with a forearm pushing up beneath the leg, and a front leg, stepping behind Korius' standing paw. He forced forward to push Korius back and fall over the foot.
Tabby booed.




Over on the Admiration, the soldiers trudged through the ship, pushing open the door to the cargo bay. Seeing the display of soldiers, they lift their guns and aim. The officer turns to the meerkat, expectantly.
"They're passengers," the captain shrugs.

Korius caught himself with his drooped arms and spun around, kicking off from his foot and pretty much doing a split while on his hands, his forward foot pretty much turning into a sling hammer coming down on Asia.
