Korius slowly let go of Howl's leg and helped him up. "I wanted to see how each of you fought. It helps if we need to coordinate CQC. I needed to know what you two were capable of should it come down to the fact that we are out of bullets/energy. Also, I have my own little agenda for you both, but that's about the meat of it. Anyways, I'd like to see how you fair against Asia as well. Remember, the best way to coordinate is by knowing who you're working with. And there's no better way to know than by experience."

"Very good point." He turned to Asia. "You up for a little sparing match, like Korius said, it's good for coordination."

Asia sprung up from the floor, sprightly and ready for another bout of sparring. "Yeah I'm up for it, let's see what you got." He bounced from foot to foot, before settling them in a battle ready stance. Tabby stood up as well, skipping over to Korius with her tail flowing behind her. She moved to wrap herself onto his arm, while looking up at powerful body.
"You were amazing, just now," she said. Her voice was soft, slow and femenine.

Meanwhile, over on the GA-D Millenium, Tina whimpered in Max's arms. He nudged her, gesturing over to Kate.
"What?" Tina asked, as she wiped off her tears.
"Come on, let's go play cards with them," he replied.
"Oh," she said, and looked over to the marines, then she scanned the bare dirty-pale room, wishing her lynx was there with them, instead of being sealed away in his own cramped cell. "No it's okay. You can go play, I'll be alright," she said.
"I'm not interested in playin' cards, girl. Now come on, lets distract ourselves, alright?" He pulled her along with him towards the marines. "Yeah we're up for a game," he said.

On the GA Demolition, the fox on communications turned to the commodore.
"Sir, Asia Kali is not on board. We're stripping the ship to be sure." The rabbit glanced at the fox, then turned away, dragging a paw down his face.
"Of course he's not there, I knew he wouldn't be. Not yet. I just knew he couldn't have arrived yet. Why did I know he wasn't there? Why did I know?"  He tensed up, curling his paw to claw against his face, dragging down leaving red scratches in their wake. The fox stared for a moment, then the commodore glanced to him again, seeing his eyes. The fox turned away.

His front paws will develop in funny ways. Why can't he walk on all fours like normal proto-hominids?' And so, whatever the kids spend the most time doing, that's always what parents think is a waste of time, and what is corrupting their lives. It doesn't matter what that is. If all they did was homework, parents would be worrying that their kids aren't becoming well-rounded people. And, in fact, parents do this - enrolling math nerds in karate classes and the like. There is no way to win - parental paranoia ensures that kids are always doing the wrong thing."

Korius sighed, annoyed by the little girl, and, with her still wrapped around his arm, flung her over his shoulder and carried her back to the sidelines like a duffel bag and pretty much put her down like one as well. He looked up curiously at his two new comrades and assessed them in his mind. Howl's good with following textbook moves. He'd best be suited for fighting by my side, it'd be easy to know what he's doing and make some combos from that. Asia's good with his feet, and very unpredictable. I'd rather have that watching my back. Still, between a textbook fighter and a kicking specialist, it's still pretty hard to see who would triumph in this match.

Kate looked up at Tina and Max, she smiled in what she hoped was a reassuring manner...
"You know how to play colonial diamonds i guess?"
With that she dealt out the cards to the three other marines who had decided to play, which included Kitt, the fox private and a heavily scarred wolf...
"We aint playin' bets seeing as most our belongings are taken... Kitt... left from the dealer..."
Kitt looked down at his cards, a rather bad hand, unless he could bluff it through.... The game took those who where playing's minds off the situation, if only temporarily. The other marines set about sleeping, or generally staring into the middle distance...

Clenching his fists and standing in fighting position, he began the fight.

Howl started off with a round-house kick, following up with two punches with each and, then finishing off with a front kick.

Max sits Tina down beside him, and pushes her cards towards her as they start the game. Meanwhile, the lynx, Daray Mabaton sits huddled in a box of smooth white. He grumbled and drifted to sleep. Beside it, was a larger cell. The captain stood inside, stroking his hands along the walls, walking round and around in circles.

On vee's cargo bay, Asia dodged back from the roundhouse, ducked from the punches and stepped with a hop forward beside the forward kick, flicking a kick through to the standing leg.

Several rounds into the game and most people seemed to have their concentration bent entirely on the cards... even the other marines who weren't playing had sidled over to watch.... Kate hugged her cards to her ample chest and smiled a wicked smile that could turn a hardened veteran into a simpering coward from ten feet...
"People... prepare to lose..."
The other marines either laughed, or shook their heads in amusment...

Kitt looked down at his cards, and then back up at Kate... he smirked....
"I call your bluff missy.... three diamons, right here..."
Kate raised an eyebrow, watching the feline...
"I'm still your commanding officer, corporal, Kristev..."
Kitt stiffened slightly, frowning... the marines knew how Kitt hated his christened name... but Kate laughed, breaking the tension in an instant..
"Three diamonds?... alright then sonny... lets see who's lyin'..."

Seeing Asia's kick coming, but having no power to stop it, he simply said, "Ah crap." The next thing he new, he was on his back, laying on the ground. The only thing Howl could do, was smile to Asia. "How come whenever I hit someone, they fall down, but with you guys, it's just not even worth trying?" Stumbling to his feet, still surprised that he couldn't even land a hit on Asia, he raised his fists again. He thought to himself, "Perhaps going for a left, right, jab, jab, kick combo will...ah, who am I kidding? It's not going to work, the only way I can get better is to not do predictable moves, then again, how can I do that if my all of my attacks are based off of it, with no real training done for a different style. I'll just wait for Asia to go on the offensive, and try to muster up some sort of counter."

Korius chuckled at Howl's statement. "Right now, Asia is doing textbook moves as well. The difference is, is that you're too grounded. You're too stiff and not at all moving with your legs much, if at all. Even boxers are light on their feet. Knowing textbook moves or having something else is a trivial matter. It all depends on how you apply it. Here's my lesson to you from Fighting 101. Always keep moving. You're not trained for a normal or strong defense. So do the opposite. Use your offense as your defense."

"Keeping moving..." He looked down at his feet, they were planted straight into the ground, not budging at all. "Oh, I didn't even notice that." He loosed his leg muscles to making movement a bit easier. "Alright Asia, your turn."

"GA Demolition, this is GA-D Millenium requesting docking clearance."
"GA-D Millenium, you are clear to dock."
"Roger. Initiating docking procedure."

Noises, clanks, clangs reverberated through the ship as it landed in the hangar bay of the GA flagship.
There was a knock on the cell door, and it squeeked as it opened, showing a spread of guns aimed at the prisoners.
"Welcome to the GA Demolition," said the officer, behind the many helmeted soldiers. "Come with us."

Over in Vee's cargo bay, Asia chuckled. "I've often found the front kick to be the clumsiest," he said, before he brought up his arms and flicked out two jabs.

Kate looked up at the many gun barrels, flicking her fringe over one amber eye she shoved the dog eared cards back into their pack... She stood slowly, and stepped forward, paws raised to chest level... the rest of the marines stood as well, the dark grey of their urban-camp fatigues creating blended with the dark steel walls of the cell... Kate peered over the heads of the soldiers to the officer, paws on her hips...

"Hehe, true, but it's still good to add on another hit to an enemy, don't you think?" Shortly after, Asia threw two punches at Howl, so he dodged both, one grazing his skin, then he followed up with an uppercut with his right hand.

The soldiers moved back from the doorway, allowing the prisoners to pass. They walked to the airlock, which closed around them. Decontaminant flooded the around them, before the door opened with a very slight pressurising hiss. It revealed a gangway, leading to a wide open hanger, littered with various sized ships littering the sides. Ahead of them, about fifty metres away, was the door to the ship proper, however right in front of the gangway was another team of soldiers, with highpowered weaponry and steady hands. The officer prodded Kate.
"Come on, you lot, keep going, you're not here to enjoy the view." The prisoners walked down, and Tina held on to Max, looking around as they continued onwards. To the left, metal boxes were being unloaded. They were just large enough to fit a furry.

On Vee's cargo bay, Asia slips to the side from Howl's punch, and delivers his own, mid-level, straight and deep, aimed at the gut.
