"I'm always nice... to you at least," Tabby relpied with a toothy grin before pushing past the two boys to greet Howl and Salvus. "Hi! I'm Tabby, killer in training, and this is my master," she said as she clamped herself to Korius' side. Asia rolled his eyes.
"Look, do you know if the satellite relay controls are ready? What about the pass codes?" he asked Howl.
The meerkat captain stood up from the controls of the ship as Max stepped in and took over again.
"You di'n't do too badly, sir," the bear said to his captain. "That was a nice exit." The meerkat gave a smile and leaned back against the walls of the cockpit.
"We did pretty well today. I'm actually surprised," he said.
"I know, sir. I know."
Down in the cargo bay, Crow could not sleep, constantly searching the ceiling. He pushed against the door, finding it solid locked. Alain on the other side gave a grin.
"Hey," Crow said, "Can't you just let me out for a sec', just let me look out a window or somthin'?" he asked.
"I dont think you get what QUARANTINE means," Alain replied.
"There's nothing wrong with me," said Crow.
