The "Tavern on the trail"
« on: January 13, 2010, 08:39:58 PM »
As fursons and ferals alike walk through the wooded trails they would happen apon a tavern. The sound of hammer and nails ring through the air. It appears the tavern had just been completed. Except for one detail the young female feline would hammer up a sign outside the door. Apon this sign was the rules of the tavern.

It read: This tavern is built on neautral ground friend and foe alike may come and drink and eat to hearts content. But all weapons are to be surrendered apon entry with no exception. Also anti-magic barrier has been placed around the tavern to prevent hostile magics from damaging the tavern. The only time weapons and magic can be used is outside in the dirt hole known as the PIT. It's 30' wide x 50' long also 20 ft deep you may ask a Terraformer to modify the terrain. (I am the npc Terraformer until someone comes forward want the job.)

Jobs available: bartender, host/ess, waitstaff, cooks, Bouncers, and 1 pit master, also dancers

She smiled as she placed up two more things an open sign and the taverns sign. She opened the door with a smile and went in. Inside there were a number of round and square tables for various size parties to hang out at there was a smoking lounge and an entertainment section were one could find dancers. There was also a set of stairs where people could go for privacy for the night really cheap.

"I declare the Golden Rose Tavern offically open"

(hope I did a good job)

Approuched the one near the entrance. Selket gave a smile and held out a paw to him. "Hello there please come in the night draws near and it is rather chill lately." Selket would then motion to the seat near a fireplace. "May I get you something to eat or drink? Oh before I forget I am Selket owner of this establishment."

Asia stepped timidly into the clearing, carrying with him his violin. Looking upon the tavern, he was impressed at such a polished site in the wilderness. He stood admiring it for a moment before noticing the people, lifting his hand and calling out,
"Excuse me!"
"Parents always think kids are wasting their youth, and always have done [so] down through the millennia," says Tom Forsyth of RAD Game Tools. "'That Ug, always holding things. His front paws will develop in funny ways. Why can't he walk on all fours like normal proto-hominids?' And so, whatever the kids spend the most time doing, that's always what parents think is a waste of time, and what is corrupting their lives. It doesn't matter what that is. If all they did was homework, parents would be worrying that their kids aren't becoming well-rounded people. And, in fact, parents do this - enrolling math nerds in karate classes and the like. There is no way to win - parental paranoia ensures that kids are always doing the wrong thing."

Would open the door once more. She looked out into the twighlight sky a moment as she heard the voice call out. She would beckone the furre towards the tavern "greatings sir." She would then spot the violin. "oh are you a musician?" Selket would once more beckone him to the tavern. "All I ask is you follow the rules." Selket says as she taps the sign by the entrance.

"does this look like a weapon?" he joked with a smile, holding up the violin in its case. Reading the sign further, apprehension spread through him. "I know the sign says you're not looking for musicians but, any chance I could be hired?"

Shinzuu did not like that little joke the least bit and watched the "musician" carefully, while maintaining his watch of the other customers.

Wound grin. "Weapons come in all shapes and sizes it's just a safety thing." She listened to his question and nodded. "sure what's a dancer without music to dance to." She smiled and put an arm around his shoulder. Though she was the owner she was actually one of the dancers. She would head to a back room after letting him in. She would come out dressed in a rather lovely looking outfit. She was wearing a harem style dressing that leaved little to the imagination. But kept her decent at the same time. She then spun around causing fabric attached to rings on her shoulders and wrists.

Before Selket returned, Asia shrunk under Shinzuu's stare but as she walked out in her outfit, he completely forgot he was there. He looked at his new boss up and down, before looking to her face.
"Cool," he said straight faced before a soft smile grew on him. "I'll just go tune up."

Smiled and clapped happily. "Tell me when you are ready" she said a she got up on  the dance table.
She would sway her tail behind her as she started to do some streatches to warm up as well.

"Almost got it... how would you like me to play?" the rabbit asked as he fiddled with his instrument.

Continued his watch as he made his way towards the bar. He grabbed a drunk by the collar and motioned for him to pay for their drinks right then and there. After the man paid for his drinks, Shinzuu dragged him out by the back of the collar and threw him out and signaled for the valet to get the man a taxi and went back into the tavern to resume his surveillance.

Asia smirked, "Well I'll give it a try," he said as he began to play a slow, silky tune, pulling the attention of all the customers around.
