Shinzuu swatted Kitt's head as he walked through and pointed at the clock behind the bar. 5:30pm. He gave kitt a look that said, "You better have a good reason for being this late."

Howl waved at Selket quickly then ran into the kitchen, laying out all of his items and began to mix spices, boil water, get out important ingredients and sharpen any dull knives. When he was finally ready enough to talk, he looked to Selket. "It's good to see you back. Forgive my tardiness, it was hard getting used to this schedule. Usually I work later." With that said, he flipped a tomato up in the air, pointed the sharp side of his knife up and it sliced in half, landing on the cutting board, then he quickly chopped up more vegetables.

Kitt walked into the kitchen after Howl, pulling on his apron and standing feeling slightly in awe at the large and scrupiously clean kichens, tail flicking worriedly...

When Kitt walked in, he looked up. "Well, I hope you have a good time on your first day. Since not too many people are coming in, you can start preparing foods. Make your best European recipe and let me taste test it, I want to see your cooking at it's finest."

Kitt nodded "uhm... yeah, h'okay.... " with that he set about finding the ingrediants and equipment for Slovakian Gúlaš and Knédlé... taking out a cut of pork he sliced the meat expertly in a quick crosshatching method before cutting it into large slices, removing the fat from the meat and dropping it into a now sizzling pan with spicy red onions, a dash of red wine and seasoning... once the sauce was hot enough he dropped in the pork, turning down the heat and leaving it to stew slowly while he got on with the Knédlé or dumplings...

Asia burst through the door, violin in hand.
"Never fear! Music is here!" he yelled as he strutted over to the stage soaking in the stairs like water to a plant.
"Parents always think kids are wasting their youth, and always have done [so] down through the millennia," says Tom Forsyth of RAD Game Tools. "'That Ug, always holding things. His front paws will develop in funny ways. Why can't he walk on all fours like normal proto-hominids?' And so, whatever the kids spend the most time doing, that's always what parents think is a waste of time, and what is corrupting their lives. It doesn't matter what that is. If all they did was homework, parents would be worrying that their kids aren't becoming well-rounded people. And, in fact, parents do this - enrolling math nerds in karate classes and the like. There is no way to win - parental paranoia ensures that kids are always doing the wrong thing."

"Hehe, good! I love cooking to music!" Said Howl, while he took olive oil and poured it all over his saucepan, throwing some cut up onions, mushrooms and garlic into the pan to saute them. Once they were cooked long enough, he added three Spicy Italian sausages, throwing in chopped bay leaves and a bit of diced basil. With the sausage done cooking, he put one on a plate next to the sauteed vegetables, Howl topped it with his specialty sauce he was making on the stove next to him. "Selket, would you like some sausage, it's fairly simple; something I cooked up at home."

Kitt poured out the pork and deep red spiced sauce onto a deep plate, slicing the large knedle dumpling into large slices he placed them beside this and poured sauce onto them as well, seasoning the dush with Paprika he brought the dish over to Howl... tail swishing anxciously he looked from Howl to the dish... "uh... its Gúlaš and Knédlé, a Slovakian and Polish recipe.... aparantly the main problem with my cooking is it lacks finesse, its hearty and filling but... well.. yeah.." he petered off, scuffing his shoe against the kitchen floor...

Howl set down his sausage and cut the meat, about to take a bite. "Bah! If it tastes good, then our customers will like it, and so will I." He took a bite of the meat, and he smiled. "It's brilliant! My god, we've got to put this on the menu! This will appeal to the customers so well. You've done a fine job, Kitt."

Asia began to play uplifting, enlightening airy-fairy music permeating into the increasingly drink addled minds of some of the customers.
